items of interest to me, video's I've been in, etc. A recent one, "The Judge" I made myself by stringing together clips from other sources.

I'm not a singer but at 90 I like to sort of sing along to recordings. (Followed by an acting exercise as an angry old man, with Gloria Coco.

❤❤❤
He was great. The women can tell ❤😂
Thank you for coming
Steve is a great host
When music was music and singers were singers and not screechers.
For sure, Kathy, I was thinking the same thing watching the various firewoks/music shows. The music (if you can call it music) sounded all the same and was terrible, same with thye "singers" The audience seemed to be really enjoying it, but only because they don't know any better :)
@@robertjohnevansSr You know, funny you should say that about the fireworks show. That is EXACTLY what I happened to be thinking about when I wrote this. That show was horrible. I actually turned it off midway and didn't watch the fireworks anymore. Besides, they hardly showed the fireworks.
This are the times when the events of world war 2 is happening in some parts of the world.....
Mr. Berlin, I hope you've watched this tribute. They do your songs so, so well. You're still the King of Melody.
Gob bless this great man. Thank you so much for sharing this classic moment with us.🇺🇸
Beautiful matched set. Rest in love together beautiful singing lovebirds. ❤❤❤
Beyond great!!!!
I love this! Thank you, Robert! ❤
Well, thank you, Abbe, I was afraid of ruining the Sinatra recordings. I'm not a singer by any means. I'd never consider even singing karaoke, but I love the older Sinatra songs especially so would sing along to the car radio, so I turned a recorder on one day. I hesitated to post it, but again thank you,
Rest easy Handsome Steve Lawrence! Your fan since the mid 1960's. Love You Forever!❤ Thank You for posting such a great show!❤
I guess I had recorded it off the TV and still had the tape. There were other videos of them on UA-cam but not this one so glad I was able to post it for people to enjoy. They were both great singers but together it was something very special.
So glad you saved this fantasic tape! My favorite performance by them! Thanks again!❤
Matuse (sp)! Memories!
My Hero
Haha, You probably can't wait until you're 91, Steve :)
Miss you fabulous Eydie. Your work with your man Steve was so moving; the harmonies, the power, the heart, the incredible range and your wonderful musicianship. RIP and continue singing for the angels.
Ever notice that Steve Lawrence looked like Christopher Walken as he got older...😂
"PromoSM" 💋
Nice job Bobby!
That was nice.
Thank you, well of course it's Sinatra's voice that predominates and it's a great sone. My voice is actually terrible by itself, but somehow I'm able to blend in to some degree without it sounding too discordant :) I was a bit hesitant to post it, but thank you again. At 90 I'm just trying to keep busy. J was doing background work and some acting this last ten years, (see following clip of angry old man) but not doing that now.
Thanks for posting this. Love Steve and Eydie and they loved performing Irving Berlin medley. It's so rare to see them performing. So many videos are in private collections and I have seen all you tube ones. This a treasure!!!!
Thank you for that, Ellen, I agree they were so good together, and the Berlin songs are the greatest. I had thrown most of my VHS tapes out of old TV recording but kept a few and I found a device that lets you transfer them from a VCR to a computer, so after checking if this particular clip was on UA-cam I couldn't find it so thought I'd share it. There is one they did of his 90th birthday though.
I could cry!!!!
I just love them!!!!
@@robertjohnevansSr Do you know where I can find it? The 90th birthday one.
@@ellengutknecht4994 Yes, hard to find as it doesn't say 90th on the introduction but does in the video , it is at ua-cam.com/video/FBmFN3qJ9CE/v-deo.html
Great show Ricardo Montalban
Yes, very accomplished, Great voice and presence. By the way slight error Jackie Coogan in this, not Jackie Cooper.
Bob you’re the best dead guy ever!
Yep, should have got an academy award best portrayal as a dead person :)
Absolutely beautiful. I rarely allow myself to feel how I feel but your segment in this did just that.
Thank you. Eric, I don't know if you saw the entire video but a lot of comments on stirred up emotions. I guess we all put on a tough exterrior to protect ourselves, but inside we feel a lot more than we let on.
@@robertjohnevansSr Completely agreed, i had the opportunity to watch the video and it really influenced me in a major way. I've had somewhat of a difficult time, I lost my mother due to Covid, lost my gf of 3 years, lost my job, don't really have many people in my life and really felt there wasn't any point for me anymore but then I watched the video and it resonated with me, it made me realize so many people deal with devastating problems, we're all jacked up in so many ways yet we're such beautiful people, and life is full of tragedy but there is also a strong joyful sense with it. my favorite quote was "I'd say settle down of your grief, let go. This world is nothing more than a magic show. Though tragic at times and encased in woe, it all works out in this truth I know" Those words on top of the brilliant performance made me realize there is still a strong light at the end of the tunnel. I'm a 22 year old guy and realized there is still a whole lifetime to look forward to. Thank you once again for impacting my life.
@@ericrobles3004 Ah, I'm so sorry, they say God doesn't give us more than we can bear, but not sure this is true. I admire and respect you that you were able to bear such a heavy burden. Everything bad happening at once. But you are right, we all go through stuff, even the rich and famous, I lost my wife last year, and financially it's been tough at times. Now at 88 I know can't be too many years left, but although not religious in the traditional sense, I know there is purpose to life, that we continue after death and see our loved ones again. Your mother I know cares deeply for you still and you will see her again, but important to live out your natural live span as our lessons must be learned if we are to advance spiritually, to become a better person than we are, and by doing so have a greater life ahead. Email me if you like at ozauthor@yahoo.com I'll tell you more abpput a near death type experience that convinced me we all survive death. So glad that video helped you at such a critical time.,
So how long have you been in film school? lol
