Really looking forward to your future products. I didn’t go with Lynx R1, as I saw many kickstarter headsets that never made it anywhere and I at least expected large delays. The delays came true, but you seem to have made it over the line. I live your vision and will surely support you if you manage to release a new headset.

Will the next version of Lynx or two iterations down be ultra-repairable or even endomodular like Fairphone and Framework?

As unfortunate as the delays and things are, this is a nice display of goodwill and display of the open-platform mentality, building it to be easily accessible and repairable, and publicly releasing an official decon for users/repairers. Wishing yall good continued luck on the rollout in the midst of all the challenges that presents. Edit: As another person suggests, it would be nice to see a rebuild as well with recommended process-- A couple of elements look like they might be a little tricky to get situated correctly again, like the fit for the hinge plate and the front section, or reattaching the ribbon cables and reseating the lenses

It's been years, I don't think I'll ever see the product I've ordered and at this point, I've just accepted that this was either a scam, or a well meaning idea that overestimated their ability to produce.

Will the lynx be able to run flatscreen apps such as browsers and streaming services. A video was made about someone playing geometry dash with the lynx, using hand tracking to click. Will functions like that be possible?

I would love to see Lynx R2 to allow the user to update components individually. Upgrade to a new screen instead of buying a new headset. You will also blow other headsets out of the water by having the ability to offload computation to a computer. The ability to make computer vision apps is also large draw for me which is something you can't do with other headsets. My imagination is going wild with all the scifi things I might be able to accomplish.

When you fund a new project, it can go 3 ways. 1. Everything works out and you get a good product. 2. There are hiccups and the business is trying to give you a functional product instead of a paperweight. 3. They can’t develop the product and it’s a failure. I’m good with 1&2 and that’s what this looks like. If this is not something you’re interested in, don’t be part of this. I appreciate it when they are trying to do the right thing.

So basically the upshot is still nothing being delivered to the Kickstarter Backers. Every update for the past two years it is literally nothing except excuses for non-delivery and promises of fixing it. Absolutely ridiculous.

I can´t imagen how much you as a startup is going trough. i know you will be not the first of its kind. iyou will not be more the best but i still hope so. But it is so important that you exist. i think you had to make a lot of deals to survive, but i hope that some freedom will be there. I know when i get the first product it won´tt be perfect or even ahead of its time. i just want to know, if you had to sell your soul.? Are you still independent or have you to report to a much bigger firm?

Still can't wait for this headset! While I love the Quest 3 that thing is a violation against human privacy. It will be nice to have another option to reclaim my privacy.👍

I hope you’ll be ready with the headsets by next year, by then I will be ready to have enough money to at least afford both the headset and the controllers plus a third party carrying case.
