Im on the fence wit buying this machine. Do you know if its possible to take a piece of one of the chops & assign it to the keys, to get a full range of notes/semitones from that one chop but on the keyboard. Buuut NOT from the sound library/kits included wit this machine, but from a record instead. I have yet to see anyone do this. Im thinkin it aint possible. I hope it is. Cause thats the last thing keepin me on the fence. And im still in the dark, as to whether or not its possible. Dope content. Dope beat, maaad smooth!!!

Dope video and cool beats. I use Logic and Native Instruments to make music. Whenever inspiration hits I just go with it. I don't make beats...I make hip hop inspired instrumentals...no vocals needed. Keep up the good work.

I got the Live 2 and I only make music from scratch. If I use any samples it’s because of one shots from expansion packs which still allows me to make original compositions. I don’t sample loops, melodies, harmonies, rhythms, etc. Not knocking sampling because I know you can get creative with it and many of my favorite Hip Hop producers sample. It’s just that I personally like the challenge of coming up with something from scratch straight from the top of my head. As for your scores, I feel they fit those Black independent films where you can tell the director knows how to put out a professional level movie despite not having the big studio funding. I’m talking a flick at the level of, for example, a Spike Lee joint before he made it big where you can tell his material wasn’t amateurish in feel because of the artistry; unlike those paint by numbers thrown together hood flicks you see on Tubi. I say all that to say your scores sound good and if it wasn’t so late and if I didn’t have an appointment to go to in the morning I would be inspired to whip something up on the MPC or Logic because of said inspiration. Keep up the good work, man.
