I can't help but shed tears every time I think of Jeremy Brett, I didn't know him personally but his death hit me as profoundly as if he was a family member. Jeremy was an amazing actor and man, he was what we call dream to be, to accomplish what he accomplished. He is still loved by millions and as time passes and people watch his works they will too love the man. God has Jeremy in his care now. You are missed and loved by millions Jeremy.

Almost 27 years already… I watched the Sherlock Holmes series for the first time as a child with my parents and I was truly captivated by his portrayal of the great detective. I had never and I still have never seen anyone act like that. It is incredible. He truly embodied the character. And even though I was born two years after he died, I too can feel the grief of his passing. Thank you so much Jeremy for all the joy you’ve given us and are still giving to people all around the world. We’ll never forget you, you’ll always live on in our hearts 💗💗💗 Rest in peace 🙏🏼💫⭐️

I met the great man once and he was very warm and gracious with his time..sadly I remember he wasnt too well but still made the effort..the biog 'the man who became Sherlock Holmes' is worth a read, ..and his Granada tv series of Homes is the perfect escape from the madness of 21st century

I have been watching Sherlock Holmes everyday. I thought he is still around but I never knew that has already taken the lead to where ever place that every man has to follow.

I can never convey my thoughts and feelings of Jeremy Brett adequately. I watch my Granada series DVD collection in it's Beautiful emerald green box constantly. I also have a copy of Bending the Willow published in 1996. Jeremy said his interpretation of Holmes is to bend the willow, but not break it. I have the hardcover edition and cherish it. It's twenty seven years since you left us but your legend lives on.
