@MagnetMan_Badumtss I admire your enthusiasm I have sausage fingers and found the frets from 5th onwards a bit difficult. Okay for chords but nothing else. The intonation seemed out too. So I returned it as unplayable. I hope u have a much better experience. I used a clip on jack plug cable to plug into an amp and used distortion on it but again, the intonation issue ruined the experience

Thanks for watching. I guess not if you know what u r doing but would a local garage who's never seen one be happy to have a go at this once it's on the used market? I'm not sure how many would and what they would charge for that matter? Is this something you've experience of?

@@asc24hoth You wouldn't go to a local garage for anything other than suspension and brakes. An electrical repair person would understand the electronics. Anyone familiar with battery management. Solar or or home batteries, wouid understand battery and charging problems. A large domestic appliance repair engineer would understand the other systems. There are actually EV specialist that could easily diagnose and fix an Ami The major of the actual work just involves identifying the broken module and replacing it, just like most modern vehicles.

@ziggarillo so hypothetically, a challenge then ... you've a used ami...it breaks down where do u start?

@asc24hoth You'd plug into the OBD port and check on the state of battery, you buy an OBD and download the appropriate software. I have one plugged into my Ami right now. If you have a healthy battery ( if not someone has done something horrible), you'd check the " ignition switch" assuming it switches on, you'd check the DRN switches. You're then left with checking the power supply to the motor. If the motor is receiving power and not running, you're in very unlikely trouble. Of its not receiving power then you need to replace the motor management unit. Job done.

@ziggarillo that's actually amazingly useful and something people would love shared on the ami Facebook groups. Do u want to create a post and enlighten the masses. I certainly was left with a feeling that whilst I had a quick efficient repair, I was glad i wasn't having to foot the bill. Many, like me, will be clueless if it went wrong without warranty, it puts me off keeping it beyond the 3 year lease I'm currently on.

Thanks for watching sadly I can't say that I recommend it at all to anyone. I couldn't get a decent chord out of it. I don't think your height will be the issue. My fingers are rather thick, this appears to be my main barrier to being able to play it as the frets are very narrow.

I also have 2 concert ukuleles that I can fret fine but...let me know how you get on, it's a fantastic object, just unusable for me as an instrument.

Thanks for watching, I'm really sorry but it's been 4 years since I flew it i cant remember what the app was called. I remember it being a nice looking but very heavy and a terrible to fly drone sadly.

I am sorry I dont, I sent it back shortly after the video as it was hard for me to play due to my thick fingers and it wouldn't seem to stay in tune the intonation seemed a bit off. Thank u for watching, sorry I can't be of help.

In my spec sheet it says Enya Custom. Might replace it with a D'addario or Elixir

@@asc24hoth thanks for answering I see some guy that opened both, and the normal have rumbling(vibration)like a PS4 or Xbox controller and it vibrate when low battery on flight in the parrot drone. Ps: sry for my bad English .

I couldn't fret it properly, (fat fingers/slender fret margins)and it always sounded slightly out if tune. We sent it back. That said thank you for taking time to watch.

Thanks for watching, I was gifted the box by a customers wife at the pub I work in. They knew I liked Star Wars quite a bit, so I looked about for a travel amp, the rest I had already. Its a brilliant, compact little setup, easy to transport in the ami, whatever guitar I take with me.

Thanks for watching but no, not in my opinion the next size up might be better but costs a lot more, it's had very positive reviews. This mini might be cheap but it's not practical.

No, the sound was OK for just practice. The real issues I had were that even some basic chords were hard to fret as it's got quite a thin and short scaled fretboard. I could have compromised with that for the way it looked but it wouldn't tune right either. The low e string was out for either open or bar chords if u played one type of chord the tuning was then out for the other. Thank you for watching.

It's free but it's a few years ago I had this for less than a week. Thanks for watching but I hated it,it was heavy, cumbersome and unresponsive with a terrible camera.

I would but I put zero deposit down, pay under 130 a month to lease it for 8000 miles a year over 3 years and then hand it back. So depreciation wasn't in my calculations.

Oo what games are u playing? I can recommend one of those 200+ in 1 cartridges (unless u know how to get them online by downloading to a blank card) it has all the professor laytons on for ds, castlevanias ds karts, pheonix wright's, tetris and some zelda too all recommend by metal Jesus and some other ds reviews. Can't say I'm any good but it's entertaining, portable and doesn't drain my phone battery lol.

@asc24hoth yes professor games and golf ones also took it to lanzarote this year but got there and had lost the stylus ....gutted.

What, about the ami, would u like to see more of? I really like it its everyday fun to me, but it appears that liking the ami is very, very unpopular(camping 220+ views...) for youtube is not what people want to view sadly. I wanted to do a road trip. but, apparently walking round it, in your own front yard ,calling it rubbish is way more popular(24,000+ views?)

I had a brain fart re charging, I saw the e mail about 2 days ago, (5days after we got back) and I realised I'd probably peed the owner off. I kinda panicked on the day and the fact we made it up that Initial hill in disley ...that was a relief of massive proportions. I probably overloaded that car, and took it way beyond what is was supposed to do. But it did it. And with that I, we, were so chuffed. I know u r way more interested in drones than daft plastic electric cars and just want to say thanks for giving it a watch. I am not doing anymore of the ami for a while though, simply because, I wanted to push what it could do but negativity on its possibility is far outstrpping its achievements on UA-cam and I just feel a bit...jaded now about it all. Don't get me wrong, the car itself is fun and as daft as me but...I thought it would generate interest that it simply hasn't. Negativity wins...?

Yes I showed that in the video? Er let's just say I missed an email and booking to use electric car charge point and the owner 'had a word' hopefully use of the rcd reassured him and I'd overpaid in other ways abd he didn't kick us off but in short... is it acceptable? I'll not be doing it again and probably should have paid more attention to my e mails. Maybe its not.

Thanks for watching , we just film with phones atm as it's easier to edit I do have a camera with stabilisation which I may try out on a mount in the car though. Ami is quite the firm ride though, suspension is a bit unforgiving.
