Knocked Loose is really popping off with their latest album, You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To, which is nuts considering how heavy and crushing it is. #knockedloose #metal #metalcore #hardcore #rock #trending #2024 #deathcore #hardcorepunk #metallichardcore @PureNoiseRecs
Darkthrone - It Beckons Us All Review - Classic speed/black/doom metal revival.
Переглядів 22614 годин тому
Darkthrone's 20th studio album, It Beckons Us All, goes for a classic doom metal sound fused with black metal and speed metal, with vintage production that is actually pretty solid! #blackmetal #darkthrone #fenriz #nocturnoculto #metal #newalbum #2024 #rock
Deicide - Banished By Sin Review - Same old crap.

Deicide's Banished By Sin is a pretty flat and boring death metal LP. Nothing new or interesting is done here. #deicide #deathmetal #metal #glenbenton #newalbum #albumreview #2024

Opeth - The Last Will and Testament Review - Album of the year???

Opeth's new album, The Last Will and Testament, is finally out, and is a combo of their two eras rather than just a callback to just their death metal era. Might be album of the year. #metal #rock #newalbum #opeth #progmetal #progrock

Listening to LED ZEPPELIN Until I hear the word "baby"
All you need is sick riffs. Anything else is a bonus.
I agree, one of the best GD albums in their entire Discography.
You look interesting
PLEASE put the beanie back on 😭🙏
How spoiled we are if Deicide is boring now
Lmao, this is their best album since 1997 and is much better than any of this modern overproduced tech death nowadays like Archspire and shit.
@@jaredlesperance6874 Tech-death is very hit-or-miss, I haven’t really heard much of it beyond Suffocation and Necrophagist, but no way in hell this is one of their best albums. This album is also very overproduced and polished as well
Did you get hit by a car
i think you dont like death metal
Was this the band that trolled televangelist? XD
Huzzah! I'm subscriber number 450! Glad the algorithm pushed me here. I'm kinda "meh" on this album; definitely prefer the older stuff 🤘
If brutal riffs aren't enough you're not gonna like the entirety of the death metal genre
@@nickvtguitar546 Not saying they aren’t enough, but if it’s just that with a super dumbed-down approach then it’s just uninteresting. Deicide has done this better on other albums, mainly self-titled and Once Upon the Cross
@@nickvtguitar546 Basically, if you don’t do cool stuff with riffs and just rely on that, then it’s pretty weak tbh. And there’s plenty of death metal bands that know that riffs aren’t the sole purpose of the song, or at the very least throw in some cool scales or whatnot. Gore bands like Carcass and Exhumed do this masterfully, and newer bands such as Sanguisugabogg and 200 Stab Wounds excel at this style as well. Beyond gore, there’s a reason albums like Like An Ever Flowing Stream, Altars of Madness, Symbolic and/or Human, and Left Hand Path are considered DM masterpieces. All of them have brutal and aggressive riffs, sure, but the key here is dynamics, which all these albums possess (go listen to the title track from Left Hand Path and tell me I’m wrong) and which Banished By Sin does not.

MISTAKE: I foolishly called Crypt Sermon death metal, I know now that they’re doom metal. Apologies
Ngl I thought the album cover was Beers Steers and Qveers by RevCo
@@kyussfan6 It does look very similar! I’m surprised I didn’t pick that up. Classic industrial album

Moral Hygiene was solid, samples well used, and innovative, less metal, more industrial than other post 90's releases.
Moral Hygiene was great , and rio grande blood is my favorite ministry album ... I also think animositisomina isnt that bad , by far not their greatest, but not that bad... Havent heard hopium but yeah after that im gonna give it a try .. Mister Great here takes his own personal opinion a little too serious i guess
Wo wo wo what's the context behind the Pfp✨
The cure are one of my favorite bands of all time, but that is what draws me to them. Wish is my cry baby album
I checked, the 40th word on Dookie is “shit” and the first word of Time Of Your Life is “fuck”

My boi is on my fyp now hi bro
A great comeback record
Of course he did platypus (I hate you)
Man, I love this new album but it is not a return to death metal. There are death growls here and there but that doesn’t make it a death metal album.
You may not know this but the new Opeth album is out btw, Jk, I know you most likely know already.
JIMINY CRICKETS!!!!!!
So glad to hear someone else who likes Sorceress btw. Love that record!! My second fav Opeth record after MAYH. Cheers
Fantastic review. Absolutely love this record and feel its the perfect blend of all of what Opeth has done prior to this but not a rehash of any of it. Mikaels growls still for me prove to be the very best in the business and as always his clean vocals are divine. The compositions are legendary. I believe that the songs titles are not just a reference to classical music but the symbol before the numbers if im not mistaken is the symbol for paragraph not sure if you mentioned that or not and maybe i missed it but thought id mention it just in case. I find the concept of this record really damn cool.
cut your hair
I concur
Friends don't let friends cut their hair
Could we just not make channels based on comments on everything? Opeth is one of the greatest greats, and personally favorite metal band and I’m excited to go listen to this. But you and others should consider making badass music on this scale of greatness like your granpappys did, instead of questioning whether their new shit “works”
Also, I subscribed so go shred and I’ll say the same thing to anyone who so arrogantly questions your works, when YOU are in fact great.
If I outlive you, which is unlikely
That’s not a threat, just math I’m just sorta old.
Also no disrespect to you. I wish all the review content floating around and cluttering my doom scroll was about things this interesting, and I wish the best for your success but do not turn the hallowed grounds of blackwaters to youtubeshorts fodders.

SHOCKING OF BEAUTY !!!! I'M SHOCKED !! Songs of a lost world is absolutely BEAUTIFUL ! The CURE KING 👑 OF ROCK ! BEST BAND IN THE WORLD ! 🖤🤍🤎 🎧👍🏻
Exodus!!! Death Angel! Possessed! Goatwhore! Warbringer! I was lucky enough to have seen Exodus in January of 1984 with an up and coming band, playing support, called Slayer! I remember walking the halls of my high school the next morning, and reflecting, I don't think anyone has any idea as to what's about to hit them! I found out some years later that was the first weekend that Slayer had played the San Francisco Bay Area! Throughout '84 and part of '85, I saw Slayer and Exodus religiously! Ha! Ha! I also saw Death Angel for the first time, in '84, opening for Mercyful Fate! They were on tour for, 'Don't Break the Oath' lp. I also saw Possessed quite a bit that year as well! With exception to Slayer and obviously Mercyful Fate; Exodus, Death Angel and Possessed only had demo tapes out! Touching back on Exodus, their shows were total mayhem especially at Ruthies Inn! Slayer shows soon followed suit! I remember seeing Death Angel and Possessed at the Mabuhay Gardens, (or more simply, the Mab) with no more than 30 people! Andy Galeon was maybe 13 years old!? "Hey guys! Are you gonna' thrash!?" "Fuck Yeah Andy!" Fast forward to 2007 and this upcoming thrash band opens for Exodus called Warbringer! I was fuckin' hooked! Still am! Then around 2010 or 2012 (!?) I suddenly react to Goatwhore! I had seen them a couple of times previously but, for whatever reason, I did'nt think anything much. Then one evening, "Holy Fuck!" (pun intended!) Did'nt mean to crowd up the commentary space however I did want to give some context as to my thrash picks! "Cheers. eh!?"
you picked the wrong song buddy (#1 platypus fan here though)

Great review, man!! I just took this in for the first time last night and was highly impressed. What a triumphant return!
Absolutely blew my fuckin mind. Did not expect them to come back after so long and deliver something of this quality with this much substance and soul to it...... But them again its the freaking Cure so i should not be so suprised. Been a fan for 30 years. Disintegration is not only The Cures masterpiece but one of the best records ever produced period imho... Having said that SOALW is truly right up there in my top Cure albums its a masterpiece of its own. Has replaced Bloodflowers(imo its sister record) as my number 3 after Disintegration and Wish. What a time to be a Cure fan. And to think Robert said this was one of 3 albums they have finished and plan to release. 16 years has been a long wait but it was worth it.
This ain’t even a review
@@CrowYeezus It’s a portion of it, watch the whole thing on my channel
Ive fallen in love with the cure over the last 4 years, theyve become a lifeline for me. Disintegration is without a doubt my favourite album (and track) and when comparisons were being made before the release of SOALW i was very excited. Lets just say they did not disappoint. People expecting happy, exciting cure may not be so impressed, but those who were after what the cure does best, creating an album completely different to the rest, with songs unique to one another yet with an underlying theme. I absolutely love it, and i can see this becoming my favourite album, and potentially nothing is forever becoming my new favourite track! Unlike other old bands thatve continued on, the cure has kept their exceptional quality of their vocals and music (which a lot of people fail to enjoy as part of it, they were hoping for more vocals as far as i can tell)!
Yeah…this album was a huge disappointment for me. Just one long downer song essentially, and yes, each song’s intro goes on way too long..the production and mixing are really bad too.
Great review. I didn't really enjoy it that much on first listen, but every time I replay it I love it more
It's wimpy & whiney. Songs take a whole age to get going and end up going nowhere. It lacks exciting riffs and catchy tunes. Couldn't make it to the end of any song. Then I went straight to Bloodflowers (2000). 'Watching me Fall' is heavy, genuinely poignant and in-yer-face. That's more like it.
Bloodflowers is the most overrated Cure album.
