I have a theory on how Vlad mistook the moronic Mina as one of his victims in his schedule. The Count's bumbling, braindead, unreliable Igor mistook "M" for "N", as well as "R" for "P" and "H" for "K", finally swapping "H" to where "P" is and "P" to where "K" is. This is likely with his lazy eyes and dyslexia. And if Count hadn't broke that pencil of his while seething of his Igor's idiocy; waking Mina up, and she's just as delightfully dense as Billy and Molly McGee, creating a forced friendship. And Mina stealing and vandalizing Count's schedule to be her forced, forever friend... Didn't her parents teach her it's wrong to steal and vandalize?

This must've been one of the earliest animations, because Boris looks so different. He has a grey hat instead of a black one. It also has more fluid animation than the show. Of course, it's my understanding that most of the promos, commercials and title sequences were animated by Jay Ward Productions in house while everything else was done in Mexico by Gamma Productions.

Enjoyed it because it brought me back to the times when I was a kid growing up in Chicago in the early 60’s listening to the Oldtimers yammer on about all things over a beer. Rick reminded me of the neighborhood guy who went to Northwestern or Champaign and came home to learn up the old Sages only to get the OK son, that’s nice….
