Iray falcon P640+ and RH-25 are the exact same unit except for the loading icon and exterior color . Same sensor same everything , falcon P640+ doesn't have the tarrif on it like the USA version RH-25 , and RH-25 has a longer warranty via iray-usa . Don't be fooled it's the same unit . Just saying, very nice review by the way 👍

I have the Holosun HS510C, love tthis optic. Was in the safe for the last 2 years, took it out yesterday and was dinging 6" plates at 200 yard, with no adjustments.

The UH-1 is almost certainly not going to be able to give the equivalent night vision performance as the EOTech. The reason is because the reticle hologram in the EOTech is sandwiched between 2 polycarbonate laminates and is directly illuminated by the reference beam. The UH-1 has the reticle hologram facing upwards within the housing. When it is illuminated by the reference beam the reconstructed reticle is integrated into the outside scene by reflecting it off a 2 way mirror to the viewers eye. This part I'm not sure of, it is either a broadband reflection, or rejecting a very narrow bandwidth of visible light, either of which will result in at least a little tint.

In stand alone mode ... it offers multiple reticles ... can you zero for diferent rifles and retain that setting so can move back and forth between platforms without having to re-zero?

The holosun 510c elite green and the 510c red are superior optics and less expensive. It’s funny seeing the Eotech Hubbard association of dianetcs go around from video to video on the 510c justifying their extra spend for a clearly less capable optic hahahaha talk about gas sighting yourselves.

Is the 1.5 MOA adjustment of the EPS a big deal on a carbine/rifle?

What about if we’re talking durability? Do we think the 509t is that much tougher than the EPS to make it worth switching?

Hundreds of millions of rounds are wasted every year in the same exact manor as portrayed in this video.

If you arent planning on killing a bunch of people at 2am those are ridiculous NV sights. If you are hunting pigs or coyotes at 2am like a normal human being there are awesome sub $500 day/night vision scopes that do it all including high def video. There are a place for those red dots , just minimal.

I have the holoson and I love it…. EXCEPT you have to use the provided tool to adjust the sight. A regular screwdriver or bullet will not turn it.

So, if I had a home intruder and i grabbed my rifle with an EO tech, would I have to manually turn on the EO tech? Am i understanding this correctly?

If you want an overpriced optic, then get the EO tech. Holosun is the best choice all around they are still killing it still this day.

Eotech needs to get with the times. They are just banking on people choosing them because “military uses them”. Also the fact that it can still be used after the glass is broken is kind of just a gimmick. Overweight, outdated, and overpriced.

You're absolutely right that the first 5 "reviews" and "comparisons" and "overviews" of the RH25 that I clicked on had almost zero footage through it. 5 reviews, coming in at 80 minutes long, had a combined 3 minutes of actual thermal footage.

As you mentioned me in your video, I have the TLR-2 IR from Amazon in 2018 and is mounted on one side of my RBR F6 helmet with Gen3 ITT NQ6015 monocular. Mounted on the other side of my helmet is a CT-201 IR laser. I prefer to use separate illuminator and laser. This setup is great for handguns. On my Colt LE6940, M4, I mount my NV on it, then EO Tech EXPS3-0 NV, then in front my very light CT-201 laser. Use it with my helmet with just the TTLR-2 IR for illumination. Note I also have a #69150 TLR-1 IR (also discontinued) which is illumination only but the same LED as in the TLR-2 IR. To re post my Amazon review: As others have noticed, there is a LED visible red light that shows when the IR is turned on. I did quite a bit of research and experimentation to reduce or get rid of it. The IR runs on 750-875nm wavelength. However, that LED red glow is different from the 400-700nm visible spectrum. It actually is glowing at 750-875nm! I tried using overexposed color film and floppy disk material to get rid of it. They both cut down the visible but also cut down the IR too. I then purchased from Edmund Optics a few "longpass" filters and the only one that worked well was a RG-850nm 25.4mm diameter (1") Longpass filter (black colored glass) for $32.50. This cuts off any IR LED visible below 850nm (plus or minus 10), though still lower than the TLR-2 IR visible upper 875nm limit. This reduced the visible red by 75%. It changed from a really bright red to a dull maroon color that is not visible unless you are dead center and dead height level with it. Did not effect the IR intensity at all. What is really needed is a 875nm longpass filter that cuts off led visible at exactly 875nm. Unfortunately, none is available unless you want to pay for a custom filter or a coating at a cost of $2K! As for install, this RG-850nm 1" diameter, 3mm thick black glass filter is about the same size as the metal surround on the IR lens.I put a very thin coat of JB Weld around that metal surround to glue it in place.Looks and works great.

I wish eotech had the shake awake setting. I have the exps in green i love it ill put it on my 14.5 but for my 10.3 HD i need that shake awake setting..

🤦🏻‍♂️ you didn’t even use the Exps3-0 that is for NV 😂 that is why real operators prefer Eotech mind you I had a couple Holosun optics and they are absolutely great for the price and for the majority of shooters, they are more than sufficient but I will trust my life either way Eotech especially the rigidity of it. Eotechs have been shot in the field and still perform.

I don't have any dot optics but watching this video the holosun seems clearer to me on the whole.I don't think the night vision is practical for the average gun owner.

I have both, I honestly prefer the Holosun. Especially for half the price. The solar feature is a huge drawback to the Holosun tho, it will not turn/stay on if you’re gun has been stashed in a dark gun safe for months, even with a brand new battery, you have to let it sit in the sun for an hour or two before it works properly. Useless IMO. I still like the Holosun better tho. It’s an unreal optic for the money. I have both the red and green ones too, I prefer the green but that’s just perosnal preference, they’re both awesome
