I don't know if this is public knowledge but I worked at A2M, naughty bear wasn't suppose to be a cartoon bear style thing, originally the proof of concept was a dark and realistic art style where you played as this Jason-esk monster dude who had tentacles that came out of his face and you could mind control your victims to do crazy stuff and confuse other npcs, there was a lot of gore and I guess that's why it turned into naughty bear, a reskin of the same thing basically.

Naughty Bear, for the brief time I played it back in the day, scratched the itch that Manhunt 1 and 2 left with a sort of Conker veneer Somebody needs to make some games like those again *cough*puppetcombo*cough* or, like, me or you or anybody who cares to devote their time to it, blender is free, after all NB deserves a steam port, if not an actual sequel Oh shit, they made Jersey Devil? I played through like 3 missions before I quit, as it was exactly the same level over and over with slightly different features and objectives. The gameplay was pretty crude and dumb. And yet I have quite positive memories about this game, like I really enjoyed it even though I know and admit it's objectively a crap game.
