Shin-splint Rehabilitation
Recurring history of #Shinsplints (Bilaterally) from past 2years with stiffness around Right ankle.
Started with releases (manual release for calves +dry needling for shin area) for the muscles around shin area and calves.
Reviewed her exercises of what she has been following (toe curls, calf raises, stretches etc). Later added few exercises which might help her to get better, also subsequently reduce her complaint.
Lower body strengthening specially hip muscles can help to absorb more of the shock and pressure on the leg during running/any activity.
Combination of strength training for the legs, shins, balance, and stretching. Which will allow the recurring rate to go down.
