Stopping in Bangkok for a few days on my way back to Australia after a long long absence. First time I have been to Bangkok in almost 20 years and my how things have changed. For all the official hoops you need to jump through to visit Thailand right now, after a few buckets of booze and a few balloons of laughing gas, not many tourists seem to be taking the Covid situation too seriously.

I have since learnt that its actually the bark from the tree that provides the cork, each tree is only stripped of the bark every 9-10 years and left to replenish the bark during this time.
