I'm glad! If youre going against Garen Top I actually like Grasp a lot as well and you basically win every fight If you kite his E out after, kinda becomes unfair for him. But yeah I was thinking of making a guide, I'm actually working on it and should release it at least this week for sure! @@GbergStacks Oh yeah I actually love Comet as it's so good with Q max and I had a whole era where I did only Q max, I think it top I love Comet with Liandry rush and in mid you don't always get chances to Q enemy long range mage but it can be good depending on the matchup but I'm glad I could help yeah :D I do have Comet videos I'm not sure if you seen but it is really viable on him for sure

@@vastolord_a7853 I wish but Sylas also doesn't get free MR pen from passive like Mord does, their kit is just really apart from each other, Sylas shouldn't even be able to play like him as he has mobility Mord doesn't. Building like him though hmm, he goes Rylais rush most of the time which just doesn't suit Sylas (I did try before as well) and then he goes Liandry then Rift which is already really AH lacking so kinda sus for Sylas. Like really believe me I wish there were more options and rhere are some viable ones like ROA but if you're asking what I'm going to opt to going in Chall games I'm playing in then it's always Rocket into Lich like other EUW and Korea Sylas players are doing, you just can't argue with the build as you would be arguing with them as well. It doesn't sit with me always but it's def the best build as of right now, but maybe someone didn't discover something yet which happens.

@PetriciteLoL I see. I was thinking maybe you could build a couple ap items and then build tank. Idk I don't think there's enough ap bruiser items for ap bruisers to really work

@@lura8040 Lich rush is still legit, uhh honeslty you don't have a ton of options If we're talking about "BiS" or "meta" but we have some other viable options, ROA and Liandry work with Q max and Cosmic first I haven't tried much but that's also playable

@@slapssroof3961 I've been actually a Stormsurge into Lichbane enjoyer before the changes they did to Sylas recently although I'm just not sure, he did still lose around 65% AP ratios collectively now and assassin kinda exists with Rocketbelt Lichbane but I don't think pure assassin will be a thing really, will try though and see. Lich Zhonya is also very legit though I agree

@@ippyyop956 if you're asking ehat would be my full build at 6 items then: Rocketbelt -> Lich -> Zhonya/Cosmic (depends on enemy comp but Zhonya is always safer choice) -> Cosmic/Rift/(Any tank item if they're like 4-5 AD or AP) -> Rabadons/Banshee and for boots that really depends, if 3 or more CC champs then Merc if 3 or more auto attackers then Tabis, AH boots most of the time if the other conditions are not met, Sorc also works but I wouldn't always with Conq.

I do like 80% W max rn, 2Q into W max but against stuff like Vex, Gragas, etc... where your W is actually can get reliably canceled or just you know you wont be able to get W in that often I go Q max instead. For Q max though I wouldnt really go Rocketbelt but its viable, I like either ROA or Liandry but Im sure just Lich Bane is good enough as well.

If you do the math, dark harvest damage rarely tops electrocute damage. Even in the game you linked, where it's a blood bath, he has 16 stacks at lvl 11 (which is like 30 more damage than electrocute would do at that lvl). Assuming you'll have less dark harvest stacks than that on average, combined with the fact that its CD is almost twice the length of Electrocute CD, it simply seems like you're giving up too much for the sake of the slight possibility that you completely pop off. Besides, with the ap ratio's being nerfed, it feels like snowballing early is harder, so taking away even more strength from his laning seems like a bad choice. I would honestly opt for consistency when playing soloq, and for now that seems to be electrocute.

@@major946 Even though DH causes less damage in a single activation, it resets, which usually makes it outperform Elec's damage in a chaotic 2v2 or 5v5 fight, which is where Sylas likes to be. The simple fact that it causes more damage than Elec at this point already justifies its use since, as I said, unlike Elect, DH resets. DH CD was recently reduced, it is 35s CD, it is not that difficult to reach 15+ stacks... Besides, with 18 stacks you already outperform Elec's damage at level 18 and from then on it only increases. It can also be activated by a single hit from a distance... I'm not saying that DH is perfect and better than Elec, but honestly it is definitely playable and I believe it fits Sylas' style better.

I actually tried it during stream today (the last two games) and I do like it, stacking DH is fairly easy however I'm not exactly sure if it's worth trading early game power of Electro, I need to try more but feel like it could be good in games where you don't think you're going to kill enemy and maybe you can stack DH but I agree it outscales Electro around like 20mins ish and the damage was 1k higher what Electro would've been about. I'm not quite sure in which scenarios which one would be better so I def need more testing to understand that part but thank you for sharing with me!

I think you make a good argument for some I agree and thank you for being in-depth. Akali I agree could be lower, I did say it's mainly personal bias with her specifically. I actually played against Diana like yesterday where I went the setup of the next video from this and it wasn't that close for her, I think it depends on the diana OTP though, Naffiri and Malz I like legit don't see in high elo at all so I can't judge them too well, they're always low elo champs currently. The only thing I kinda disagree is Yas especially is not an easy matchup, I think it really depends on what elo you're playing but I played against the best Yasuo's in the server (some even being EUW chall as well) and when they know what they're doing it's a whole different story. Vlad also kinda more objectively hard If he goes Aery and Ignite just purely If you look at matchup winrate Vlad has is a bad matchup via U.gg or Lolanalytics. Otherwise it's a pretty subjective tier list as my experience is going to be different than someone else's as playstyles differ a lot and I think that's okay to be that way

@@k7nic606 Hmm for top lane I haven't played as much lately since I've been spamming W max with Electro in mid and I think that's the best way to play him rn, Top is still viable but I would do the same thing for ADCs Top, go Rocket into Lich, me and literally any high elo Sylas player is doing the same build, Conq also works but I like Electrocute with Transcendence and Scorch and you deal actual damage still

I do like Q max more but it's unreliability makes it hard to carry with, I made that list with both maxes in mind and technically I played W max more than Q over the span of playing him. Aurora is an okayish matchup I never had a huge deal w/ it, it only gets annoying when she 5 man ults your team from invis

Ngl while making the tierlist I realized literally everyone else has different opinions on it so in a way I feel like it's kinda impossible to fully make one everyone agrees but only just mostly, I figure I make one anyway and if the "margin of error" is low then I'm happy!

The specific build in the video I really like Liandry with Q max, you don't have to Q max first for sure, 2Q into W max then E max is also good but it's all preference on playstyle's since both are different

@@goku-tv5wr There are some, I recently did matchup tier list on stream and had a dodge category which I'll share on my Discord later today but some good options are: Cass, Zoe, Taliyah, Hwei and some more but at least this is what comes to my head rn. I ban Hwei every game just beacuse of how popular he is and he doesn't like make your lane "unplayable" like Cass or Zoe but he locks you in lane and you both never can move outside of it, or that you won't ever have prio which I hate doing it every 2 games, can't engage on a good Hwei too beacuse they will buffer their fear with your E2

@@major946 Kinda same mentality as ROA, you're sacrificing AH for pure stats, but the general idea is that since you're Q maxing you're not AH hungry like W max is so it doesn't matter as much. If you're going W max then for sure Rocketbelt or Lich will be better. The cd reduction on Q def helps, Liandry is also a very problematic item all around but it's a really good poke and fighting item beacuse of the 6% damage amp you get the longer you're in a fight. I'm trying more W max stuff recently so my next uploads might be about those

@@PetriciteLoLyeah fair thanks for the detailed response. I would think that, following your logic, which is sound, optimizing liandry’s passive should be easier when it’s build as 2nd or 3rd item. At that point (assuming you have haste), generally fights are easier to extend. But that’s just my perspective. I’m also still testing q vs w max, seems obviously situational but still prefer the more brawling style I get out of w max.

@@major946 I have yet to try Liandry second or third item really, the only time I did it was ROA into Liandry though just from that I feel like Liandry if you're gonna get, is good first item as it's a good bully item, then if you get it second item you wont get to use it in lane as much to poke. I could try something like that, still gotta try BfT into Liandry as I hear it a lot but yeah Q and W max are situational, both good in the right situations, W might be more reliable though because no skill shot required

@@goldenstar17ita99 If we're talking about mid then for sure Electrocute or Conqueror, always sudden impact -> eyeball -> relentless then you can do sorcery with scorch and transcendence with Electrocute and PoM, Legend Haste, Last Stand into either Resolve or Domination with Sudden Impact and Treasure Hunter for Conqueror. You can change minor runes around with preference and against matchups but main runes are important

If so you don't take those already so it shouldn't affect him at all if anything it's really good beacuse Sylas struggles against fleer goers bwacuse they can kite so easily (ADC solo laners) but maybe there's more I don't know about not sure

oh LOL I go the same runes every game: Electrocute -> Sudden Impact -> Eyeball -> Relentless + Overgrowth -> Second Wind so I only have overgrowth for HP runes, kinda adds a lot If you're going ROA though. Conq is also viable and good but mainly a preference thing :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
