iPhone 12 Pro Max - Best Photography Phone? - Why & How?
Come check out my opinion on why and how the iPhone 12 Pro Max may be the best photography phone to date! Is 2021 going to bring about even better tech? is 12 megapixels enough to get the shot? Is the price tag worth the premium? Can this phone be used a C-Cam? What am I doing with my old phone? What could you possibly use a cell phone for in the photo realm anyways? Does this phone replace my APS-C Camera? Can lighting make phone photography yield better results? What kind of photo did I capture with this phone since I received it? Do I have some example photos to share?

Canon EF To RF Drop In Variable ND Adapter For The EOS R-Series Cameras

The Canon EF to RF drop in variable ND filter is one of the coolest accessories for a camera that I have ever used before. I like it video wise no doubt because you obliterate the background during daylight not matter what settings you use. I find when filming in C-log it makes the colors pop. Not only does it make the colors pop but it also helps when you use apertures of 1.2 or 1.4 and also a...

hi. does it have a manual mode in the camera ?
I wish i.could find the dual screen for my at&t LG velvet.. Does anyone have one for sale?its impossible to find one not even at&t sells them anymore i love my velvet so much my favorite phone ever..
When you turn on the stabilizer, the video quality becomes grainy. I like everything about this phone but that aspect
you live in alberta
Jon Paul, you practically mauled that poor box to get to the filters. Why????????? Where is all this rage coming from? How many boxes have you harmed in the past like this? We need to get you on Dr. Phil and try to sort through some issues.
I have this phone but my photos don't turn out like that it's usually soft and blurry like it's been smooth over idk how to fix it
You might need a phone tripod or gimbal, your hands could be shaky! Try a faster shutter speed in manual photo setting mode. If not try a gimbal for a phone that lets you take pictures with a button on the gimbal. Or just try and steady your hands, a deep breath in and hold it will give you a steadier hand and if that doesn’t work then try and hold your breath for a few seconds while taking the photo and hold your hands with the other hand!
Can we use epidemic sound free trial as freelancer in fiverr?
I got my Skyreat at filters on Amazon for $76 Canadian
Yeah I love mine, well worth the money and makes for an epic shot
I loved the video. Can you tell me the music at the end of the video? It's so peaceful and relaxing. Got my velvet 2 weeks ago, as this will probably be my last LG phone. For me, it all started with the Optimus G. When I find a good phone that I like, I always buy backups (mostly on E-bay). I got 5 Optimus G's, then 8 Optimus G Pro, a Koren model G Pro 2 (which they never released in U.S) 3 V10's, 2 G 3's, 5 V 20's, a V35, then V40. Lastly, the velvet. I also bought an FX0, which ran on the firefox OS, which is now defunct and can't install any apps on it anymore. It was a transparent phone that had great phone quality and audio for the time.
I love my velvet too, best phone I've ever had. The song is Joseph Beg - betawaves for concentration
I just got mine, feels like the filters gonna fall during flight, feels flimsy. Is that natural??
Just make sure to clip them in properly and then you should be good to go, mine have never fallen off once
Thanks for the honest review. I just got mine a couple of days ago with my Mini 2 - got the 5-pack with the ND/PL hybrids. I have to admit, they're so tiny and light I find it kinda hard to get on the gimbal! I've tried a few ND strength, but something I keep finding is that my gimbal has crazy shake issues when they're on. I've tired putting them on, and after fully clipping them in and checking to see they're in line with the sensor lens, I still can't work out what I'm doing wrong. Also, I opted for the ND/CPL hybrids but have quickly come to realise that there's no way to change the CPL whilst flying in the dang air!!!! lol.
I found them very easy to get on but mine were for the original mini! I stated that fact about the CPL at the end of the video but you kind of have to gauge it and the CPL actually works pretty well on a sunny day! I didn’t have one issue with jitters at all so I’m wondering if you’re not putting them on right! I would buy this product ten times over again because I really love the ND 64 and ND 32! Just those two ND filters I found super useful! When upgrade on the next iteration like the mini 3 I will definitely be buying these over again! I love this product and that’s my honest opinion!
ordered mine but the 5 set polarised ones
Nice, I bet you’ll love them!
I just make order for LG Velvet on Shoppee and waiting for delivery direcly from South Korean's seller since the price already $350 now. Lg mobile will be shut down as we know that. So sad and this is the last LG phones that will bring nostalgia apart from LG Wing
Just a query, does photo size in just few mbs ?
has it got a pc socket for flash
Thanks! this was very helpful.

You have a great voice for podcasting and or radio
I actually took your advice and started a podcast on Spotify, just posted the first one today! I called it “Camera Attack”. Thanks for the suggestion!
Confess that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart the God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. Repent of your sins. ("Repent" is Latin. It means "To Turn Away." Turn away from your sins, refuse to go back to who you once were.) Be baptized. (Be completely submerged under water) And the Holy Spirit will gift you. This is important, remember this, JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU
True, mostly. Fullness of faith in Jesus Christ can be only found in the Catholic Church.
The most boring review ever 😴
how loud is the autofocus for video? would your shotgun mic on top pick up any sounds in a quiet environment?
I’ve never had any kind of problems with autofocus noise interrupting my audio!
How is the quality of the audio recording?
It’s pretty good for my standards, I like being able to control the levels and what not!
Not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last days =)
@Lachlan Derrick Definitely, I have been using Instaflixxer for years myself :D
hi john! I can ask you why you shoot with Canon r with this rig? there is no stabilizer in the camera, only optical. I am considering for myself the option of a used canon R or a new Fujifilm x-t4, the bitrate is 4k higher and it have stabilizer, but the price difference is about 700$?
There are a couple of reasons why I stick to canon and I’ll list a bunch of reasons! First Canon glass is like no other. I’m converting all of my glass to the new RF mount and what I have tried so far I’ve seen beautiful results. Most of the canon glass has optical stabilization like you stated and it’s about 5 stops of image stability. I also love the canon colour science, like the look you get when you press the shutter button right out of camera, I’m mainly a photographer and I dabble with video from time to time, but on that note when the EOS R is paired with the Atomos Ninja V the bitrate is enhanced, it jumps from 8-bit clog to a solid 10 bit which looks ten times nicer with the external recorder. I’d say if you plan on doing video with the EOS R then the Ninja V is a must if you want quality log footage, it basically supercharges your camera! Also I find that the Canon ergonomics are easy to maneuver and take full advantage of and well I’ve basically been using canon for the last five years and I developed a passion towards this manufacture! Nonetheless though you can create anything or something that sparks ⚡️ interest or something that will be remembered with any camera whether it be Canon, Nikon, or Sony or even Fuji, at the end of the day it all depends on what you can afford to tell your story and how compelling the movement is! When you watch a movie 🎥 most don’t ask what it’s recorded on, they just remember what the plot was about and how it made them feel! Create with passion and worry less about the gear that you possess, because at the end of the day it’s what you can afford and what story you want to tell. Almost all cameras are very capable cameras these days! Also last but not least lenses are the most important thing to have in ones arsenal because through the lens is how the perspective is told!
@@JonPaulKersey Thank you very much for your answer, I am of course based on the budget and the fact that the camera is liquid in the secondary market. I don’t like fujifilm lenses and I’m going to use optics from canon through the fringer ii pro adapter - not quite a cheap thing ... So I’m more interested in video capabilities, but on canon/sigma glasses, I thought to take the old manual lenses, will they come with them is it possible to make post prod smoother than fuji with an in-camera stabilizer? To be honest, I just have 600d at home, like a dinosaur. Very simple interface ... I'm in thought, tk. with canon glasses, which will have stabilization, will come out at a price like fujifilm with video recording 4k 120, and full hd 200, I've been puzzling for a week
@@kulikkekw6253 yeah every canon lens has different forms of stabilizing some are 3 stops and others are 5 stops and some are no stops, I have used a lot of sigma glass and non of the primes that I have used have image stabilization! The EOS R only shoots max 30 FPS in 4K and 60 in 1080p and 120 only in 720p. The atomos only helps with bringing the 8bit to 10bit and helps for external recoding like being able to shoot in pro res or DNXQ which intern make it an easier codec to edit in 4K footage. You’re still going to need a really good computer with at least 16gb of ram and a good graphics card at least 2gb to even be able to edit 4K footage! That’s the part that a lot of people forget when they edit a high bit depth 4K codec, there’s work around a but believe me it takes a lot of research to be able to make it work with only a 16gb RAM disk drive! I would even recommend 32gb ram to make it even more smoother! With complex edits the more powerful computer you’re going to need! Sigma lenses are so good and I love them, but primes don’t really have image stabilization and the zooms tend to have stabilization but some don’t, for work that doesn’t have a stabilization like a good canon lens you will need a Gimbal to get buttery smooth footage and if you don’t have the budget then it’s gets very stressful adding everything up! The glass that I’m trying to look into getting is the RF 24-105mm which has 5 stops of image stabilization and yes it’s only f/4 but I have invested a bunch into proper lighting and what not and on a budget it gets very steep and adds up quickly, I’ve been plugging away at these items for a couple of years and I didn’t get these items all at once because I too was on a very tight budget and still am! For my sigma glass that is just the EF mount I had to get an adapter which can get expensive too! Because the EOS R is only the RF mount! To me lighting is more important then the camera you own to be honest for video and photography in mind too! Having in body stabilization can be an added bonus if you’re doing a lot of hand held work too. I either rely on the lens or a gimbal for stabilization and it can be tedious, but it usually works! I don’t know how the Fuji adapter would work with stabilization from a non Fuji lens so I’m not sure there! All I know that on UA-cam there is a lot of bias information because everyone has a brand of choice so you kind of have to take everything with a grain of salt! UA-cam is definitely a great source of knowledge and it rocks the socks off for informative content!
Thanks for being genuine with your review, thank God you didn't sound like typical bloggers with so much BS and hence the reason for thumbs up. Just received the filters today so your review gives me some courage and hope for getting some good footage. Thanks and keep up with your genuine reviews, good luck.
samsung evo 860 2 TB works perfectly
Yeah I actually am using the Sand Disk 3D ultra and it’s pretty sweet! I’m only using 500gb but I have three of them. I have considered the Samsung 860 and am going to probably purchasing more in the not so distant future!
@@JonPaulKersey i like the Samsung cause its large capacity and it frees you from angle--birds ridiculously over priced drives
@@cloud9photography126 yes I would love to have 2TB of space on a single drive. To be honest I fell for the hype of the angel-bird but they are definitely reliable and I feel the premium in most cases are worth it and the durability plus reliability do compensate for the higher cost but I definitely need to purchase an SSD that has more then enough space on the drive without hindering my pockets. I definitely require more information on this subject. UA-cam university will give me the educational content I need!
Can I have one? 🙏🏻

really dark. what mic your running on the side?
The dark was made to look darker by edit to give it that moody vibe. I am actually making a video on my Mic 🎤 next, Rode NTG 5!
You think it’s perfect for canon 90d?
I use it on my 80D and it looked awesome. The 90D would be even better because you would be able to take full advantage of your sensor. In my opinion!
@@JonPaulKersey But you will like have to stand far away from your subj to get the full body shot. Right?
@@kensiovillanueva4640 yeah you're 85mm becomes a 136mm on the cropped 90D. This is a debated topic but there is plenty of evidence the proves that crop factor is a real deal! It still looks good on a cropped camera and the results are very pretty, in my opinion!
@@kensiovillanueva4640 and yes you will have to stand further back due to the crop factor. A 50mm prime with give you an 80mm perspective on a crop body. If you want the 85mm perspective. That's the closest you'll get on a prime for that body. The crop factor for the Canon aps-c bodies is 1.6 multiplied by the full Fram lens focal length that you will use. The crop factor is due to the sensor size. If you want an actual focal length that the lens is, then you have to upgrade to a full frame body. The depth of field also changes as well. A full frame sensor also give you more detail in every shot due to the bigger sensor size. It's actually rather abnormal to have a aps-c sensor with 30 megapixels. Ef-s lenses won't give you the full amount of those pixels unless it is something like the DC sigma art lenses for aps-c camera and I feel they would render some pretty sweet results with that camera. Like the 18-35mm sigma art or the 50-100mm sigma art lens. Both of those lenses are designed for aps-c cameras and they make them for most mounting systems. For video they are good but auto focus can be a drag if you get a bad copy. With my copy of the 85mm sigma art I did get some and mostly beautiful results. Sigma's quality control is on par with the major brands these days and they have stepped up there standards from 5-6 years ago
Nice video Jon👍, poetry at another level 👌
Thanks a lot! I thought I would try something new. Cheers!
I’ve the review. I just ordered mine. Thank you!
Yeah I wouldn't fly mine without it, thank you for the positive feedback. Cheers!
Too bad the adapter with the filters won’t fit both RF and EF lenses.
Yeah that would have been perfect. Definitely does give some incentive to use EF glass still.
Learning new stuff from your videos! Love it
How is the battery life
Depends on use of the flash like how often you use them but I would get a couple hours maybe even three on rapid use
