I use three tracks on the S4 and loaded them up with samples, two chords, one vocal and process them with the S4's FX chain. You can check the manual for details. So that's granular, filter, bitcrush, noise, reverb and delay. Then I added some parameter modulation, especially on the filter. The Iridium is not being processed in this particular track. It just provides the subtle off-beat chord stabs.

That's a huge compliment. Thank you for that. This is actually the rehearsal for a couple of tracks I finished later with roughly the same setup with the S4 center stage. The idea was combining a relatively fast kick and bass with longer stretched chords for which the S4 is absolutely the bomb, it produces the most amazing atmospheres with minimal input. The risk here is stuff can converge to the same 'sound' so you have to be mindful and make sure the input is driving most of it. But yeah, the Iridium is the souce for the chords and atmos. It does that job really really well. For it's probably the best dub chord machine out there if you'd want that in one box. Be hey, chek out my soundcloud for those tracks I mentioned earlier. The most wide sounding parts in the atmosphere are S4. The rest is DT2. Bassline is DFAM.

it is, even with it's current limited feature set. extremely well suited for the more generative approach. also love the resonant filter, great for those glassy chords (although not comparable to bark filter processor)

I have bought it through a reseller and waited for more than 18 months, and had the reseller stay on top of it. That last bit was important. Patience did it.

Thanks! Soundpack not ready. But you can easily create these as well. Do minor chords, use a velocity (and preferably an aftertouch) sensitive keyboard and drown those chords in lush delays. Have fun. Many A4 presets will do.

@@myceliumtechno im obsessed! ive made for music a long time now and its been SO much more fun, faster, and for the first time im actually coming closer to feelings of completion. this track is SUCH an inspiration to keep playing with it. this is right inline with the feelings in songs id like to make. im just using headless on pc rn.

Hi, you gotta configure the M8 to have the correct midi channels in order for the TouchOSC template to work. I included the midi settings in the Touch OSC user interface under the Control Surface button. Set CTRL MAP to CH15 and REC NOTE to CH16 on the M8. Good luck and have fun!

Thanks! Force in this setup does some of the drums and low end percussion, but it's main part is the mixer, master chain (EQ, limiter) and performance FX (DJ filter, delays, reverb). And it records the session.
