RENFRO PROFFIT one of the best lead guitar players ever RIP Renfro
It Dont get better...DR. RALPH STANLEY!!! KEITH WHITLEY!!!!
Whitley and Stanley's voices are brilliant together
No better duo that Keith & Ralph
Fiddle player is a master of his craft.
I before e
lets make welcome. huhh!
Thats goodtimes right there. There all gone. Playing for Jesus now
God bless these men!!!
I agree with Donovan Davis completely.
They don't get any better than these two. I was in shock when I heard of Keith's passing.😢❤
Not a better combo anywhere with Keith singing lead and Ralph singing tenor!! Me and my dad would go to the Ralph Stanley hills of home festivals every year and heard Ralph tell the story of when he was going to do a show in West Virginia and had a flat tire and was late for the show so the folks putting the concert on put a young Keith Whitley and Ricky Skaggs who was in the audience on stage to play until Ralph got there. Ralph said when he got there and heard them boys pickin and singing he thought somebody was playing an old Stanley brother’s record! He went to their parents and had them sign permission to go on tour with him! Ralph said they did the Stanley Brothers better than the Stanley Brothers!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Keith Whitley byl vynikající zpěvák, mám ráda jeho hlas, miluji jeho písně ❤️🎸❤️
One of the best bands ever!!!!
So wonderful..fills me with JOY
Life killed Keith. A pure tragedy.
It was such a waste of a good life gone wrong
I really miss the two.
Every musician should be mentioned/credited for his performance.
But Ralph....(OMG)my family grew up with him, went to Rio. In homes there in east KY and the toe of va., the hills. I so love him as man and true son of the mountain music.
Love this Music.
I loved this great performance however Keiths’ drinking threw all of this wonderment away… gone and won’t return. Very, very sad!
Life is hard
Oh that high lonesome
Is that Ralf Cline on the fiddle?
Curly Ray
Thank you. My memory isn't so good any more.
He sure could sing& play, we sure lost a talented man when he passed, RIP🌹🌹🌹💞💞🙏
"Borned and raised in Eastern Kentucky, waaaay back in the sticks, in a little town called Sandy Hook..." gets me every time, for some reason.
Wait, this is how it sounds, wait, thank Jesus for ears
What an amazing human. Thank you Tony.
A tragedy
this stuff seeps into your soul.......
His voice is earth shattering, Whitley's.
So is Ralph's!!!!!
This is an end to a golden era of everything that was awesome in America. Thank you both for your singing and picking. I'm so glad I met Ralph a few times. What a kind, gentle, and also goofy man!
Sadly, this is the end of the once greatest country in the world period.😢
RIP KEITH! And Ralph S. What an AMAZING TENOR!
Legends
Oja Bailamos.Shall we dance,As Grandpa would said often,Pass the buscuits❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
The more I hear and see of Keith Whitley I find it more than disturbing that he left this world so early. What an unbelievable talent.
This video is actually the beginning of his downfall sadly enough. Being a teenager touring with adults, anytime there was a drink around (which there are plenty in the music industry, let alone bluegrass)- he couldn’t refuse it. Early brain altering habits are the hardest to shake…
😢
We lost shots a grate taleñted men ît hurt me to tears 😊
Perfection
From now to the rest of what time we have left in this world they'll never be men or music like this again.
Spelled his name wrong. KEITH.
True
I love Keith Whitley
Great vocalist, better guitarist.
No better music on this planet other than bluegrass gospel
The bottle let us down.
oh my god , I love this so much i just discovered this video of Tony thank you
Sweet music to my ears.
Keith (not Kieth)
All the ones….he may have been the One ☝️….. singer that is 😊
I think it’s mind blowing that even as a teenager Keith Whitley demanded the attention of America’s true greats in Ralph Stanley, a young Ricky Skaggs and not only was his singing so good, his guitar playing must of been something else for Lester Flat to give him a pre War Martin D 28🤯 Compare this to the tone deaf Nashville scene who rejected him for so long and it speaks volumes imo.
