This was a really interesting video. I know how it is stretching yourself to thin! I think it definitely can add to burnout. Really like your channel and think you have a unique perspective. I'm a film director and its cool to see a vlog from the perspective of an actor/creator, I think a lot of directors would like to peer behind the scenes of what its like to be an actor and this channel gives me that! I'm gonna comb through more of your videos and check them all out when I get a little bit more free time. Have a great one and keep your eye on the ball! Making consistent content and focusing on your passion will take your far :).

What was it like on set of Fila se Kind? Did you film in the karoo desert? I imagine filming in a remote location must be challenging and lack the comforts of shoots closer to the city

Thanks for sharing This is something I've been thinking a lot about. It makes sense for you to invest all your resources (time, attention, enegry etc) into thestefactor. I'm about to launch two projects (youtube channels) that I've been filming and editing the past few months. I've been agonizing on whether to separate the content into different niche channels or just lump it all together. I've settled on two channels as this allows me to stay true to two vastly different topics and areas of interest.

Have you heard of the curly girl method? Check out the curly girl south Africa facebook group and see if it's something you'd be interested in. It's a beautiful supportive community and you'll get some idea of what products and techniques you could try. I'm still experimenting with a minimal frugal cruetly free low effort/waste version of it. Would be awesome see a dude/some one with shorter hair trying the curly girl method. It's super easy to quit sulfates and some of the other nasties that aren't great for curly hair so you don't need to go too deep into curly girl/natural hair to get amazing results

Yes, yes, yes. Yes to it all. I think sometimes it takes courage to believe in what we feel and ourselves in order to make those decisions. But once we simplify it down to, let me just do what I know makes me happy, it becomes a lot easier. Thanks for sharing.

Yay! Love this. As a non actor 😁, For me this plays out every time I need to choose between self & family/friends. It’s in my nature to be there for others, yet I know that more so than not I need to be there for myself first. I’ve had to unlearn the idea that choosing me is selfish. Yet I believe that I am because of my community. So if I don’t show the love to my community how can I expect them to hold space for me. It’s a delicate balance I’ve kinda reached.
