I started out as big folder guy but but I have slowly been converted to a fixie guy there’s something that happens when you get a solid fixed blade in hand and I cant explain it.

Nice one! Might have to check out a Reiff. Dont know that ill play along at home with the fixed blade carry. That being said, my favorite combo is an Esee JG3 with a JouFuu leather pocket sheath. His sheaths are top notch if youve never tried one.

Don’t use water with Diamond stones. Make you they are completely dry after if you get them wet. Diamond stones are always very course the first couple times you use them. They will become smoother but will still sharpen. It’s called a break in period. Get a ceramic rod for like $15-20 for after the 600 and then use the leather strop. Very light passes on the ceramic rod. If the Diamond stones get full of fine steel use a white pencil eraser to clean them. Nice and easy.
