Released in 1950. I'm not sure exactly what 'Merco Plastic' is, but I do know that this record is one of the loudest I have ever played. Philips GA212 turntable, modified to run at 78/80 rpm instead of 33/45. This was done by changing resistors on the motor controller PCB. Stanton 500A cartridge, with an original Stanton 3.0 78 stylus.

F. Murray Abraham plays Salieri in a short extract from the film 'Amadeus'. The music on the movie soundtrack is by Neville Marriner and The Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields. They do a fine job, but of course there's no video of them playing. Instead, I've used the sound and video of a performance by the LSO Wind Ensemble.
