My son recently turned 13 and is fascinated with all birds, for his bday he had received some gift cards from family and ended up ordering everything to incubate Bobwhite quail on Amazon and I didnt know till a few days before the eggs came in the mail. They are on day 19 right now...I have went through every video about them and came across your page and it made me the most comfortable but Im still afraid Im doing something wrong. I am hoping these little babies hatch and everything we are doing keeps them healthy and strong.

What woolly bugger and what fish was it?

Do you have the issue with the hatchlings drowning in their water? I have to put marbles in the quail sized waterers because my Cortunix go “scuba diving” and drown if I don’t

I’ve been raising Cortunix quail. I know for them you have to have 3-4 females per males for them. Is that the same for bobwhites? Also, do your females go broody and raise their own young? Cortunix are crummy moms.
