Nice set up for sure! I prefer to go there when there's no water. The red layer is easier to find and follow. I've dug exactly where they are digging last year 😅
@@kennethgreene7124 just to clarify, this is not my setup. As far as the red layer goes, it only holds true about half of the time. I’ve had really nasty cool looking pans from that layer that had nothing.
@@AaronChristensen ya I suppose the same for me. The best I've ever done there was I classified 8 buckets to ⅛ inch material and got exactly 1 gram. Probably only about 15 feet from where your buddy was digging

I got mine from a pet shop as a adult and the lady wouldn’t get him out because she was scared of him and said he was mean and always tried to bite her and I asked if I could pick him up because I was interested in him and she let me get him out and not once did he get defensive or try to eat me

I had one and it was the sweetest little snake and it looked just like that. I got it when it was a baby fresh hatch out of the egg 🥚 I would love to have another one!

The baby rattlers can’t control their venom and will inject it all into someone if bitten!
You are correct, however you must also consider that the full load of a neonate rattlesnake is a small fraction of what an adult can deliver.

@@AaronChristensen oh man. If I lived that close I would be there all the time. I live all the way up in Salem 😭. But we are starting to find a little gold in the north fork Santiam which is only 30 minutes from us
