Breathe Jonah
A little gift for all you die hard Breathe fans out there... The original video for Jonah that we made over a crazy long weekend whilst causing mayhem in Barcelona way way back in the 80's... Enjoy!

Breathe Don't Tell Me Lies video from 20/12/1985 with original line up Dave Glasper, Mick Delahunty, Marcus Lillington, and Ian Spice
I only know 2 songs of them, Hands to Heaven and How can I fall.
Very memorable band. Why did they break up?
1985
version 2 video this is better.
When "All That Jazz" came out, I remember thinking "Where the heck did these guys come from?" An absolutely fantastic album!
Hope you were able to mend your relationship with the rest.
We gotta get this to 1 million. Hidden gem from 1989. Sirius XM 80's on 8 (Mark Goodman) brought me here.
As a heavy metal/rock lover of the 1980's, I'm sure not ashamed to admit that I bought this CD when It first came out. Great music is great music no matter the genre!!
Is there a breathe documentary??
I think I loved his seeming reluctance to be the center of attention. His face always looked a bit grumpy whenever they stuck the camera in his face. And I found it just adorable.
RIP Ian Spice (drummer) who passed away in 2000 at the ridiculously young age of 34. Another great 80’s British band.
What righteous hair
He ought to have gone on to have a solo career not unlike George Michael’s. I think he would have, too. But you can’t force success on every deserving soul. They have to want it themselves.
Next time I'm in a fast food restaurant with my brother I'm going to sing this song to him with these lyrics: Don't eat my fries! Don't eat my fries!
God take be back to the 80s!👌😎👍👉♥️the best decade.
You all were incredible... David Glasper was a one of a kind talent and should be singing on some kind of jazz or blues tour, not isolated in a third world country. I hope he can heal from the hurt he's experienced. The world needs Breathe again in some form. I hope you get your due!
This is still my favourite Breathe track ❤
80s was the best decade - music (great artists like Breathe, Johnny Hates Jazz, Mr. Mister, Toto, Simply Red, Tears for Fears, etc), TV shows, movies, clothes (well some of them. lol) and growing up as a kid. Nostalgia at its finest..... 🥲
Excellent bands mentioned!! Breathe reminds me more than a little of Toto, first thing I thought when Jonah started playing.
this stile is the same of breathe ...¿do you remember this song? ua-cam.com/video/4qa2Ol6BHd8/v-deo.html&pp=ygUgdGhpcyBjb3VsZCBiZSB0aGUgbmlndGggbG92ZXJib3k%3D
I can never figure out why you guys weren't bigger than you deserved to be. Every track is amazing.
Awesome music in the 80s
Love this song❤❤❤
Absolute 🔥 song….
Wow what a voice love the 80s
"Great music stands the test of time." 👍
Song has been in my head for days, I love it!!
Wish they made more rocking tunes like this...
I love these guys
Their #10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 from early 1989 while reaching #5 on the Billboard AC chart and #10 also on the Canadian Top Singles chart
I am so thankful I was born Gen X
This group were as good as anything over the last 40 years .came and went far too quickly .Great talent .
Those were the 80s! And I was fifteen!👌🏼
Somebody sent this to me to encourage me to continue to pursue my work helping victims of abuse (including myself). Great song!
Great singer was David Glasper shame Breathe didn't hit the heights.
Might be the most underrated band of all time
Like most 80’s teenagers, there were songs that just touch your soul with a memory from that decade. Don’t Tell Me Lies from Breath is one such song for me. When I hear this song, I can brush the cobwebs away from memories and remember what those years meant to me. Thank you Breath for a song that lights the ‘80s in my soul.
Yeah yeah the 80s !!! loved them !!! And nobody was bigger with the ladies than me take a look at my picture and imagine me with her. In fact I think all you loose women that made the 80s as fun as they were. I was the KING in the80s!!!!! And I'm still the KING now !!!! long live the KING !!!!
Was an 80's kid but more of a rocker. Just discovered this band recently thanks to UA-cam music suggesting it and I'm completely floored at how great their sound is. This video with its collages and music is one of the best so far that I have seen and it's memorizing. Very well done indeed and I'm not telling you any lies...
.
they were first heard in the usa summer 1988 to summer 1989. not before then.
awesome guitar and other musical sounds in this song. why is it saying 1985? this song was heard spring and summer 1989
There are are such iconic piano melodies to Breathe's songs (Hands To Heaven, How Can I Fall, etc), but we never see a keyboard player?
1989😊
Fortunate to have such a wide selection of artists/tunes during the 'big hair' 1980's when the mirror didn't tell me lies...
They were definitely a breath of fresh air compared to stock, aiken and waterman crappy late 80's
Loved this group much! My daughter just sent this to me because she remembers me playing nothing but their music over and over again!❤
Is it just me or is one of the dancers a young Nicole Kidman?
I love this group!!! First time I heard this in 80’s I knew they were amazing
All that jazz is a great song
One of my favourite songs only got to no.10 in the UK chart very surprised at that
