What is Project New Moon you ask? It just my Idea for an Elliott Smith cover channel.
Part of Elliott Smith's genius was writing songs that sounded simplistic but were supported by intricate chords and melodies.When I was first learning it was difficult to transcribe songs without clear live recordings, of which quality could vary. I want this to be a resource for others looking for faithful recreations of Elliott Smith's songs the way he would play live with just one guitar. Comments and input are welcome so please feel free to ask any questions you have and I'll do my best to help out. I'll even write tabs occasionally.

why transpose it higher?
i believe elliott’s recording is in d standard which has some low vocal notes I cant quite hit. I’ve also have seen Elliott play it in a higher key live so I tried it out.
