Just thought I’d comment here how phenomenal the foreshadowing is towards this fight. First off, anyone who’s read Wuthering Heights, Heathcliff is not only the main protagonist but ALSO antagonist within the book, which gives reason as to why Heathcliff? is THE antagonist in Canto VI Secondly, looking in the game itself, Matt?’s skills, and Ofc leading into Heathcliff?’s skills, are named after base ID Heathcliff’s skills, being Bat Bash, Beatdown and Upheaval. It adds so much thematically to the fight if you’re able to put both factors together, and makes it hit harder when Heathcliff? Starts pulling his own arsenal out. On mention of the music? Yeah, no, obviously made this realisation I made hit way harder for me, and I genuinely adore Heathcliff? as an antagonist entirely for THIS theme alone. God, I wish it was used way more but I can understand why it wasn’t allowed to bless our ears for more than a single fight.
