Just watching Ian Sharrock now in a film called 'Candleshoe'......alongside David Niven & Jodie Foster. I came here to see if it was the same guy.

I remember first seeing this on BBC 2. Had no idea what and who Alan was at this point but remember vividly crying my eyes out with laughter at the end of this from the whole "it's a dead end" and him running lol couldn't catch my breath properly. And from that point on I made a point of finding more stuff about Alan and watching and listening to all his other stuff and now several years later on one of his biggest fans. "In the whole world" and I suppose now i am also a "spaztic. I'm a big mentalist!" Too lol!

Has anyone ever experienced false memories with tv episodes where when you watch them for the second time they are different from how you remember them the first time round? I have that feeling with this episode because when Alan drives off after calling Jed a mentalist I remember him driving for a lot longer than he actually did before he arrived at the dead end!😃
