Tokens & Coins
United States
Приєднався 10 кві 2016
This channel is devoted to token & coin collecting. I make videos to introduce collectors to different kinds of tokens and medals you might encounter. Other videos focus on the history of tokens and coins in my collection. Lastly I like to show items that I acquire at shows and give advice to new collectors.
I'm no longer going to try to keep a regular video schedule. Just making videos when I want to or when requested.

Nice
Thanks for the info. Just came across one of these tokens. Cool bit of history.
Nice Type set !! Subbed.
Very neat to see and learn...🤘🏼💯✔️
Worn but still very neat. Thanks for sharing.
I have a 1833 large cent, how much will you pay for it.
The price would depend on condition. If you want to sell it I'd take it to a local dealer or coin show.
I found an 1862 one and thought I really had something. Was disappointed when I found out it was worthless.
Well not the 100th anniversary that one is actually really cool
I have the same one
Nice
I have a bag of these most of them are 1872 and 1874 where can i take them???
No trade dollars were made in 1872. Any coin shop should be able to tell you what you have.
Sir, you buy old u.s coin 1876
Thanks. Just added one to mine Political/Historical Collection
Thought provoking video. I agree about skill building and practical home goods. Has your opinion changed since this video?
Silver has a lot of industrial uses, and there are people/corporations highly motivated in keeping the price of silver steady. They want the price high enough that it makes financial sense to mine it, but low enough that it doesn't impact the cost of goods. This manipulation in price means that silver is essentially "capped" in its value.
@@TokensandCoinsGreat explanation! I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question.
Really good memories associated with a few of these. Great video!
Great video thats prompted me to grab a few. Would love to see more in future videos.
An emperor Brazil and an empress of India at the time
Nice condition 🎉
Wow! Wonderful!!
I have a 7070 also. I'm 3 from completing it. I just got the library of coins type sets vol 1 and 2. Try and fill that one! Nearly impossible. Even if u did have them all most u wouldn't put in a book if u did but cool books anyway since the Dansco didn't include several coins they should have imo. Also the Dansco cut outs don't fit some of the coins. You would think at the price of them they would cut the holes to fit. Nice books tho. Thinking of adding a page to put the missing coins in and gold page maybe

That is very cool! Thanks for sharing.
This is really neat!😊
Thank you for sharing
North Bend and the surrounding areas are very neat, beautiful countryside (hopefully it’ll get to stay that way too). It’s not very often I find stuff on the internet that talks about us, hardly anybody knows where the area is, so this is very cool!
Fantastic
Don't see those Cuban Pesos often, great looking coin.
This is not a good Symbol for the original man; asking Am I not a man! You would never see a seeded Grape asking a non-seeded grape “Am I not a Grape?
I got one of these from my grandfather and I really want to try this!
I have one coin it this
This is, hands down, the most overpriced HTT in the series. Only listed as R2 it is listed by the. Dozens on eBay for $200 - $500 each??? I auctioned my HTT tokens in a PCAC auction in 2010 and when I bought Mine in the late 70s it cost $6 for a very nice one. Many Huts cost little back then and maybe doubled or tripled in price, but not this token. Somehow a common piece go hyped to death. Don't pay a ton, you can eventually find a bargain...Kerr correctly priced piece.
So were the patriotics used as pennies too or more for displaying stance of the war, etc? I’m new to these tokens and have been trying to distinguish the difference, if there is one, between the uses of patriotics vs store cards. Thanks
Yes, the patriotics were also used as cents. The main difference was that storecards usually came at a higher price with a higher minimum order. Of course they were great advertising. I saw once that patriotic civil war tokens could be purchased at the time 73 for $1. So shop owners were profiting on every one that they gave out as change.
nice coins :)
1959 Alaska birthday year souvenir money how much

Hi Tokens & Coins! I just subscribed to your channel! Nice Video Content! 😎
Thanks for the sub!
Cool finds and interesting tokens and elongated coins.
Nice video. I just got into tokens. I am a gold and silver stacker, as well as xopper. Tokens look fun. So why not. Thank you. ❤
Bought yesterday a 1874 s trade dollar that I suppose was used as jewelry, necklace to be exact. I'd say to me it adds historical value since there was demonisation it makes sense how it ended up being a jewelry piece. Thank you for the video!
I have one that looks like yours, the plating is top of line on some of these and MS coins was used it looks like, here is mine ua-cam.com/video/-saDGcbW6Ck/v-deo.html
