I like your knitting projects, even the beautiful looking Aisling you can’t wear. Can you felt it, then cut the largest squares possible from the front and back and make a cushion (or two) with it? I haven’t made an emotional support chicken because like you (at first) why would I want a chicken? but everyone is having such fun with the pattern that maybe someday I will. Very surprised to find a video about the Ziggurat method, as I bought the workshop only yesterday. I quickly realized what a Genius idea the Ziggurat is!! I am excited to get started on my sweater. I'll be interested in seeing yours when it is finished.

So far, I've knit 10 chickens and given away 4. Finding names for them was such fun. I've got a Froze Hen, a Lone Range Hen, a Bat Hen (I knit a removable hood to cover the head ), a Catherhen the Great, a Chicken Skittle and a Princess Layer. I got a bit (just a bit) carried away.

I am working on my own chicken. I struggled with the tail, now have to join first two pieces and continue on to completion. Hopefully no more issues .. its my first.

Hi there! I really got a kick out of your chicken video! I just started on my first one. I love it! The designer of the chicken owns the yarn shop near me and I went in and bought a kit directly from her and I am also going to take her class on how to knit the chicken since I am a beginner knitter and I don't want to mess it up.
