A wonderful meeting!

I'm "only" an "interested amateur". But I know to use my brain. Took 10 years watching/hearing physics lectures to find such a substantial doubt. All physcist claim to be of that mindset, but surely not in public. The newest "fight against conspiracy theorys" doesn't make it better. And also collecting money by claiming to have found "the truth" is pretty sneaky. Many questions/doubts came to my mind ever since, and nowhere answers. E.g. various possibilities to craft a SN 1a. I found only one article, whithout further explanation, saying "not a big difference". HERE was the first (short) explanation. And why you are still trusting such candles. To say "we don't know", "we have problems" is not a shame, and could surely take off grounds for those crazy conspiracy ideas! I bet! They also come out of the (correct) thought, that we CANNOT know everything... and scientists are not admitting it.

Mathematics is a human conceptual tool. It is subordinate to human thinking, reasoning, evidence, physical reality. What we see with Lambda CDM Model is mathematical dogma, mysticism. Why should there be a single set of equations describing the whole large scale history of the universe? Can you do that with earth's history? Or the solar system's history? Or the Milky Way's history? This is nothing but placing mathematics up on a supreme pedestal. Just because the math can do things doesn't mean that's what's happening in physical reality. Some of these so-called physicists need to get educated, they really do veer into the territory of being a priesthood at this point, worshiping abstract mathematical symbols and telling the rest of us we're too stupid to understand it.

Symmetry is dual to anti-symmetry -- the spin statistics theorem. Symmetric wave functions (Bosons, waves) are dual to anti-symmetric wave functions (Fermions, particles) -- wave/particle or quantum duality. Bosons are dual to Fermions -- atomic duality. My brain gave me the blue screen error when I found out he holds christian creationist beliefs. This explains the subtle ways he manages to dodge all the sensitive questions about life on other planets, conciousness computability, etc. And instead of the term "creationists" he uses the "anti-evolutionary literature" euphemism 58:16, when referencing and constructing his arguments. Pretty lame. I had pretty high expectations from Oxford.
