Very good spanish.
Hi can you teach on wrapping on a cylinder
Good work
Thanks Frank. You wonderful instructional video on assemblies was the first one I came across using Solid Edge. Man - I had no idea this software existed and I come to find SE has been around over a decade already. I'm teaching myself this so I can learn to fabricate plastic parts. So far so good.
Thanks Brian. I'm glad they are still of use as they are a few years old now. seem to remember that there were some useful tools for doing (moulded) plastic parts but I haven't done any of that kind of work for a while.
Hi Frank do you have any tutorials using Solid Edge Electrical.? Regards Tom.
Hi Thomas, I'm afraid there never used to be tutorials for the electrical routing facilities in SE but I see there is one now available on their website. I haven't used it myself but you could have a look at it at: solidedge.siemens.com/en/resource/tutorial/introduction-to-wiring-your-first-robot/ Hope that helps, Frank
I can not find the options of FORMAT in Solid Edge ST10. does any on know, whether the option is been removed?
This trick allowed me to make some beautiful parts in solid edge. But if I try to make an assembly with these parts, the picture disappears. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Dennis, when I create an assembly all the textures are visible. Maybe you could check the Assembly, Views, View Overrides function and make sure the Textures box is ticked?
I found the problem the texture box wasn't checked in the assembly. Thx
Dennis Van Den Bosch I have the same issue but i cant find the texture box to check, could you tell me where it would be? im using ST8 at the moment and help is much needed. EDIT: i actually found the textures box but it is checked. When i go into Assembly the blue surf disappears all together..
Go it to flip 180...need to rotate in the Modify Faces,Texture setup after inputting the image file.....just below that is an area to allow the image to be scales and rotated...BINGO
The "part painter" image keeps coming in 180 degrees out .. even if I flipped the source jpg file 180 degrees...overall a great trick
Thanks for the video! :)
