Really. Statistics show there are more homes in the US than people- they're just being gatekept by banks and holding companies. True, new construction doesn't have THAT problem, but they are expensive in general, far outside the financial means of the vast majority of individual buyers. Who buys them? Holding companies and banks.

your prices are ridiculous in utah

There are some things that can be done to fix them. Filling with crack filler, sanding the edges if ones side has lifted. If the home is new then it may continue to crack for a year or two. I would wait to put carpet or other flooring down until it is hopefully done cracking and then fill in the cracks. The best way is to make sure it is compacted well before concrete is poured and then put in saw cut control joints to relieve the pressure and crack along the control joints.

I don't quite agree with this list. After living in Utah for 35 years my list would be a bit different. What would your top places be to live in Utah? Some of mine are Logan, Holladay, Sugar House, Park City, Alpine & Highland, down south Washington just outside of St. George. Some small towns are pretty nice as well. Heber is gorgeous also.

I heard lennar didn’t want to pay your real state agent commission is this true . My agent sounds like he doesn’t want me to buy a home with lennar when I said I like those model better .
