Digitech Talker Guitar Vocoder Demo
Переглядів 232Місяць тому
We believe this pedal also works great with a keyboard synthesizer and could easily create funky wha type sounds in the studio. However the strong point could possibly be the any driver signal vocoder like effect...We used the talk box setting.

Here we bring a classic trance song from the nineties back to life while using some of the musical studio equipment that was actually manufactured in the nineties.

😀👍
Nice
I would love to hear a comparison now?
Exactly what I was looking for my friend. Solid
I have to try that speaker trick. I bought a 70's 6V6 model in 1996. Thinking I scored a second 6V6 model in 2002, it was sadly the 6AQ5, what a disappointment. I do agree with all of the points of this review.
This is probably the cheesiest pedal I have ever heard. I love it!!!!
🙂
1972 my year!
So emotional, maybe the most beautiful sounding fender amp ever made
Jimi only played a maple neck for the last year of his life. He played rosewood board Stats for most of his career.
The pearl inlay is not a decal.
thanks for straightening that out for everyone!
and if you plug it to a synth with sawtooth wave, and set your talker to the talkbox preset, you have the daft punk voice :)
Awesome!
El tema? Excelente!!!! Las guitarras? Sobresale la Telecaster sin duda, pero igualmente suena bien la Bullet.
Nice. Who knew these things would be worth so much today.
@@ALtheDoctorWho they are incredibly useful and sadly they were not produced in big quantities making the value extremely high!
@@guitarmedia9171 I bought An Marshall Major Road amp used by Savoy Brown. At the time I did not think about what it would be worth in the future but Your right. When you find these things it's wise to jump on it. Thanks for the come back. 👍
This is fantastic! Great work. Did you sequence the whole thing using Song Mode on the QY? And one more (dumb) question, is Garage Band synced in any way or just used as a recorder? Thank you!
@@fogbongler yes I sequenced everything on the qy700 (song mode?) the only mode I know how to use...and no it's not synced in garage band in any way... often times I go into garage band under the control tab and deselect snap to grid this allows me to align all the audio clips in perfect timing...
Superbe 👍
this is by far the best video of this amp on YT. vibezzzzz
Are there any embossed three pickup 72 SG customs out there?
65😂🎉🎉🎉
I dig it
It's good you own old equipment and are not ashamed to use it but like myself youtube will not push your content they will suppress it to viewers they want advertising money and your not advertising new products that advertisers want to sell.
@@theprogrammerrolandmc3039 the truth is synthesizer manufacturing companies probably make up less than 1% of google and UA-cam revenue.more than likely 99% of their revenue comes from payed for TV or pay per view movies... So the large networks aim to block any excellent content from exposure...in order to force everyone in to paying for it.
The algorithm could possibly more complex than what we could even fully comprehend? But here goes my take as short as possible....... The large networks cbs cnn ESPN fox cnbc just to name a few. Don't want any free quality "entertainment" content to compete with. They would much rather for people to pay for tv by selling you a paid monthly subscription or get you to pay per view or cable or something...? Thats constant revenue from every dan jim or joe down the street and all over the world. I think they would much rather see how to videos here on youtube?... (not something someone watches everyday) Finally as far as likes subscribers and comments go. I would count those as effective methods of automatic reviews. That really do eventually bring certain videos up in the rank on the search engine.
Sounds great what pedals or effects are to get that reverb or overdrive?
biamp mr140 reverb, art "tube pac" profesional tube preamplifier compressor (overdriving the amp)
I dig it brother!!
Great job on Redhouse👆🤘

Awesome man!!
Middle position?
Oh, you mean go ahead and make a middle position comparison video....great idea, but we sold the custom years ago...we'll keep that in mind for next time though. Thanks,
The Tele neck pickup is a Fender single coil with a chrome cover. Actual Lipstick pickups are made by Danelectro and they initially used actual lipstick tubes as casings. They also sound different and are closer to Melody Maker, TriSonic, and Mark V single coils in constructions.
Rad!
I had a brown Vibroverb, with JBL speakers about 35 years ago. I never liked the amp. I knew it was a valuable thing, I got it in a trade. I sold it to Austin Pittman, Mr. Groove Tubes. Gawd that amp was heavy (and I had blackface Twins at the time) I was playing jazz guitar at the time, and I just never liked the sound of it, not even a little. The one in the video sounds great.
I can confirm that Rosewood neck is less bitey on the attack by the pick in comparison to the maple neck. In fact, the maple neck Stratocaster sounds more like a Telecaster with a maple neck. Thanks guys, for responding to my inconsequential quibbling comments. It was important to me, however. You're correct that rosewood board softens the sound more like an SG or LP. Oh, I think SRV's #1 had a Pau Ferro board.
Rosewood vs maple's impact on the sound = zero Because of course these are solid body electric guitars. It WOULD matter on acoustics. But not on solid body electrics: ua-cam.com/video/n02tImce3AE/v-deo.html
🙂
I got one if anyone wants it. I won’t be around much longer.
Look up.
I can't tell any difference
cool demo, is that a Princeton II on the right? I have one with a Fender EV speaker
Yes, we have three...👍
I think the video is great. I'd like to see a comparison of maple board vs. rosewood board Strats.
I really appreciate recommendations and although we could easily swap necks, I would much rather just go ahead and record them on the guitars there already on...👍 (I think we will give it a go)
Great to see some new content. Great playing as usual.

I play one at church with a boss and mild od. Boy does she come through pretty
Same. I don’t do any OD, just the rear humbucker is enough for me, but even then, rarely need it.
@dhldt1021 Very Cool. I'm on single coils strat. This amps clean channel is so pure it's a well kept secret I suppose.
This amp is heavenly!! Speaking of which ... have not seen this guy and his fine collections of browns, in a long doggone time ...
the brown amps were mostly owned by a friend of ours...
@@guitarmedia9171 You demo'd them well! I am wondering what speakers were in this Concert? Thanks. And by the way: I started playing a year or two before this amp was even created! 🙂Second and third amps I ever played through were new or nearly new Concerts!
@@Tonetwisters cool 🙂 celestion g10-60w I think they were produced after 2001 but not 100% sure,. thanks for participating here on youtube, your contribution to the community helps more than you realize you are really helping googles AI to understand the gravity of our position as a real resource of musical information.
There is a resistor you can cut and replace with a jumper to fix the bass response issue. Originally it was put into cut the bass from hitting the cheap (styrofoam at one point) speakers too hard. Take it out and you get a more typical full range sound. I have the 6V6 version myself. I still want to modify the tone circuit to have a more usable sweep.
I think he did some drugs back in the day.I like the kt66
良い音ですね、私も入手したいです。^o^
Very cool! Is it the 55hz bass cone? It sounds crazy similar to the WGS Reaper 55hz here. I own most of the modern G12H 55hz options and find all capture different qualities of the originals but the Scumback H55-PVC sounded most like the ones I've physically played. If this was a blind demo I would swear the original was a WGS Reaper 55hz... Pretty neat! Great sounding combination with either speaker paired with that amp!
@@Voodoo66Chile more than likely sorry they weren't mine so that's why I'm not 100% sure? Somehow these speakers seem to be all you need for almost anything although I have noticed that they don't seem to hide much just across the board 👍
funny how fender nailed it then, why can't they do simple usa made awesome now? please don't reply that they are
