The Generals - Thyste Pipeline Test (2023)
An initial pipeline test for Thyste from back in 2023!
I had wanted to test out voice ideas for the two generals, and the way they would interact. This is also the initial draft for their interaction at the end of EP: 1, but I decided it was better short and sweet. I also got to try out a bit of an animation style in the middle, though some of the compositing techniques and character design bits changed throughout production.

Raena pushing back their hair is so interesting and fluid- I don’t tend to see animated characters have a specific motion they do in different ways very often. And I’m already in love with Roarke! Bubbly Criminal is my favorite archetype

Suggestion: Add more impact to all the sounds, and more sounds in general. Oh, and make everything louder as well. Just keep in mind that, if you do so, make sure the voices are always easy to hear. That can be done by just making them louder, or by using voice boosting (when someone's talking, turn down the volume of everything else.).

Amazing work! 7:53 is SUCH a cool shot??? so cinematic. It was quite easy to follow the action, and the main duo work really well together!
