Fishtail Braid on Flat-Ironed Natural Hair
Here is my fast and easy go-to style when my hair is straight. It takes less than 10 minutes to do.
I like the fact that as the day goes on, the braid doesn't look as neat, but it still appears effortless and pretty. This style can be done on medium to long hair. This can also be done with braids or twists.

This one product wash and go with the Nurture Water-Locking Gel from Hydra Bar Salon tutorial will help you understand how easy it is to use (style with). How to Maintain Long Twists or Braids

Here's a quick and easy way to keep your twists (or braids) looking fresh and straight for the entirety of the style. Do whatever styles you want without dealing with crazy looking dents afterwards. Before discovering this method, I was using a long bonnet I had. It was long, but not quite long enough. This caused my hair to constantly have a bend in it and I didn't like that. Matrix Mega Sleek is the BOMB! I've been using it on and off for years. I recently returned to it and I forgot how good it was. The shampoo makes my hair feel so good but it still cleans VERY well which is very important. My hair is soft after I rinse. The conditioner...on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL. It detangles and softens like no other. It's the only non hair mask I use. I'm natural 4b.

Hi Laneia. The gel dries with a cast, yes. All gels do. When the hair is getting older, for example, day 5 or 6 hair, it's normal to see little flakes falling as you're manipulating the hair. That's because the gel cast has been broken. How often are you having to wash your hair when using Nurture?

@stacyr4768 Hi Stacy. I only stretch it once with the blow dryer. It will shrink just a little afterward. You could over stretch it with the dryer, just a little. Or you could sleep with the hair in a high loose ponytail (a pineapple). That should help the curls to remain stretched until you wash your hair again. Hope that helps.
