RH Knives Tasca 2 5 Min Review
Quick 5 min review of the Tasca 2 from RH Knives.
Stunning design on this high quality flipper from Czechia. Fell in love with the polished DLC blade finish. Overall aesthetic of this knife is a breath of fresh air from the droves of gray titanium that dominates the knife world.
As always, my review and scoring are very subjective.

North Arm Skaha II 5 Min Review

Quick 5 min review of the North Arm Skaha 2. From our neighbors up north, a flipper with some of the best action I've handled on a flipper. North Arm made a simple but extremely well executed. MBK Sea Otter 5 Min Review

Quick 5 min review of popular Sea Otter from Monterey Bay Knives. A very pocketable USA made knife. Simple design but this small knife feels like quality in hands. Great rival to the small Sebenza and honestly liked this more than I expected. As always, my review and scoring are very subjective. Brown Knives Mini FSD-I 5 Min Review

The Mini FSD-I from Craig Brown of Brown Knives quick 5 min(-ish) review. An excellent example of a premium production knife from a maker who has his machining game down. Front/Top flipper that has plenty of ways to deploy. Action, fit and finish are some of the best in the game. Highly recommend getting your hands on one if you have the chance! IF you want a poor mans version check out videos on KUNWU Knives - PADRE or X-PADRE. Range 225-300 depending on version.
Nice knife. If it was a thumb stud I would be ALL IN.
I hope they do a thumb stud version. Great flipper either way.

@@jhawk1985 congrats dude! Def one of the best quality button locks I’ve encountered! BTW your user name a reference to Jayhawks or just a coincidence. Cheers! 🍻
my last name is Hawkins. first name starts with a J
Great video. I still want one.

@@FloridaBikeVlogger they are such fun fidget tools. Def my fave utility knives I’ve had. Only issue so far is the top metal price that holds the blade spring flung off and is lost. I can still use it but need a replacement. Just something to keep and eye on.
I have number 0088, Low Volt Blue with Bronze Gold Bolster and Clip. I really like mine.
Damn I need one of these! I love the sng and the pt. One right in the middle is just awesome
😮😮😮 very good 👍
@@passionscouteauxnature9019 thank you sir! 🍻

Jan does great work! I have the very first Coba he made. It's probably my most used folder Edit: Czechia is central Europe. It's like the exact center of central Europe! For some reason, the European market prefers lighter detents. Cheburkov, for example, will tune their detents lighter on knives destined for Europe and stronger for knives going to Russia and the US.
Interesting on the detents… I really want to check out some of his other models. I saw some of the things he’s got in the works on his Instagram and they’re some very cool designs.
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
I’m excited to get mine! #197
@@dustinlong7571 Congrats man… you’ll enjoy it. Just picked up one of their balis too, they put out some quality stuff.
Very good 👍😊
Isn't it like $350 with the fat carbon? I think there's a ton of "honeymoon phase" going on here. Anything is gonna feel like a good value or great quality compared to a Holt Edit: I guess the Holt quality comment is unfair. I haven't handled one made in the last year, but every single time people have told me they have the issues fixed, they have never had the issues fixed.
The fat carbon version is roughly $330 or so… The g10 is about $240 and reg cf is about $285. I have been carrying this one for almost two months. Still very impressed… still great action, cuts great and edge has held up very well. As far as Holts go, I haven’t noticed much negative feedback on them, other than being pricey 😂 . I can only vouch for my Holt but I’ve had zero issues with it so far, had about 5 months now. I’m not out hard using it or anything but regular intermittent carry with no issues yet 🤜🪵 😂. Appreciate the feedback.
I like 👍😍
👍👍😃
Is that a centering issue, or a grind issue? It looks like the clip side grind may be a bit deeper near the tip than the show side. I could be completely wrong, but theres a couple points in the video that make it look uneven. Im sure its a fine knife, but charging crk prices for crk simplicity without being anywhere near crk quality is funny to me. I guess thats where the artificial scarcity comes in to play to drive up demand.
Grind looks pretty even in person, I was able to get it back to center with a little messing around, but I have seen this complaint from a couple others who haven’t had luck resolving. To me pricing is hard on this one… it is a super simple knife that is US made. It’s a little cheaper than a small CRK, but not by much. With CRK you def get a more refined product, including packaging and the prestige behind the name. I think it’s one you got to check out in person and see if that high price point translates. I like it more than I expected.
Very good 👍😊
Il est magnifique 🤩
I run the Nexland ceramic blade in mine, but the Stanley fatmax carbide blade doesn't fit.
Good to know. Thanks for the heads up!
Au top 👍😍
Beautiful 😍👍
Guillotine action is a cool novelty the first couple times you experience it, but the slow controlled action takes more effort to achieve and is (generally) a sign of higher quality IMO. Having said that, any well made knife can be tuned to have either, so neither is a make or break feature.
Yeah def personal preference thing but I tend to agree… I think one of my fave knives is the Cedar from RobJohnsons. IMO has that perfect hydraulic action and was one of the first knives I reviewed one here. One of the original famous super drop shut knives, the Norseman, never really did it for me, but even this FSD feels more controlled than the one I had. Thanks for the feedback! 👍
Just to clarify, its not E-K. Its Ek. If you google John Ek, youll see where the name and design come from.
Thanks, appreciate the clarification!
Beautiful 😍👍
What's your thoughts about the two different scale options, he speed hole versus the diamond pattern? Thanks for your video. Stay safe.
Personally I liked the diamond patten more than the speed holes. I didn’t get to handle the speed hole version but I imagine any weight difference would be negligible. I would go with whatever you think looks better… I’m a big fan of both designs and all the ano options.
Agreed with Rumz… the websites do not list a difference in weight. I think the diamond pattern would also offer a bit more grip the speed holes… but not by much. The aluminum scales are pretty smooth but never felt like they were too slippery when I was doing cutting tests. The speed holes would be cool to spin the exo but other than that I would go with what style you prefer. I had to think on it for a bit myself 😂 cheers!🍻
Beautiful 👍😊
Absolutely love the design of all the variations
