This was one of the five laps from my first time at the Nurburgring. The car is a stock 2012 Lexus IS250 F-Sport running Goodyear Asymetric F1 tires.

Unmodified Volvo s70 glt. The new V90 sure is nice, but does it have a NA 5-cylinder Engine?
How do you know if you're buying a 2007 to a 2010 F Sport package Lexus IS250? I haven't had any luck finding any online unless I am using the wrong keywords?F-Sport package
I am happy to see that you passed the Abarth, because those boys can corner really well (depends on the driver):D Is there any mods or tunning to this 4GR engine? I will be in Nurburgring in September, I am driving from Ireland. My is250 got quantum tunning remap and cold air intake mod ( meets_is250_sage)

Yes! My friend who drives the Volvo is really fast and he can be confident with fwd when it's still slightly damp on track. I started slow and got faster as the confidence grew and the track dried up

Have you thought about doing the rr racing tune? I live in Macedonia and have a 2008 is250. Contacted rr-racing multiple times but they can't confirm if their tune will work for the European is250 with 208hp :/

Yup the discs get overheated in the downhill sections an temporarily warps. The thankfully return to a normal state when they cool down, so no vibrations then 🙏

Really liked my IS250 but I would not say its a fast car at all.
is there much difference between the f sport and the base model?
I have not tried both, but a friend recently bought a luxury line is250 with the standard suspension. He says it has noticeably more body roll, but feels pretty much the same otherwise. The tyres are wider on the F-sport and I think the rear brake rotor is larger. No difference in the drivetrain.
Same engine and gearbox 204 hp or 208hp

Only maintenance, nothing performance enhancing. Took the intake off and cleaned it, as well as fitted new standard sized Brembo discs and pads allround. It was great fun!

Check into Lexus F-Sport sway bars for improved handling and body rigidity, makes a huge difference over the stock sway bars.

I'd love for you to add a throttle body controller, GSF LCA bushings and hood strut bar then go back. Just those 3 things made my 07 IS250 feel great and completely different

Balls. I couldn't imagine taking my stock, mint condition is350 on such a high speed track...well, I guess I would start slow with stability on/traction off. And the 350 has much stronger 4 piston front brakes...but every heavish ((3,500lbs+) street car driven on track needs high temp brake fluid and race pads on the front.
I had the opportunity to take my GS 350 fsport on the Nurburgring and it was a blast the car did even better than I expected I definitely could’ve used better tires but the car felt smooth and the 3.5 sounded amazing
