i just love greenday so much, they maybe saved my life. i tried to take my own life, while i was in the hospital, i see basketcase music video for the first time and it gave me purpose. Today, greenday music still has deep meaning in it in the songs, for everything My father recently passed and guess what..... wake me up when september ends for me changes to wake me up when december ends. Beautiful, simply beautiful.

It's amazing how good they were even in the early years. Kerplunk is a great pop punk record. And 2000 Light years away just shows Billie's ability to write catchy songs

Ahhhhh, Beniciaaaaaaaaaa! Remember that billboard? The crazy thing is, 3 months before this, I was only 23 and getting married to my 1st wife in the Bay Area. It seems like a lifetime ago. I think about all the changes I've gone through in my life, and yet the boys have been together ever since. They are a rock!

Local lore is that tre dated a girl locally and would play keg party/garage shows around here. When coming up for a name for their new song they named it after our town… Longview.

Hard to believe that in less than 2 years from this show they were playing Woodstock 1994.

I love old videos of bands like this. Just before they get their big break and blow up. You know they had no clue they would be together 30+ years later, members of the rock and roll hall of fame, inspiring new generations of musicians...simply bad ass.

92 I was 10. Just discovering Nirvana. Didn't take long to stumble across green day. Which lead to full on hard core punk.
