Thank you!
Nothing great comes easy. Great video 🤝
This is speaking to me man no lie
Balance guys, its all about balance.
This has been me. Got done working with a stressful job that laid me off. Started doing DoorDash working on my own time and I don’t regret it. My family says I’m lazy. In reality, I know how to manage my time my own time.
Tttthhhhhhhhhhhaaaanks,i needed this tip
This will be my last video before 2025.Wish me luck.
You got this 💪
Yeah I’m hopping on this, As moistcritikal would say, let’s do this shit
Love your vid bro i needed thos you just got another sub
Thanks man!
This resonates with me. I've fallen into that trap and regressed a bit, but then i understood his message and its been different since. Awesome video, well explained.
David has his demons and not all demons are alike. I exercise but I love my beer and happiness. I will not subject my body to unnecessary through the roof torture
The video I was looking for! Deserved follow and like👍🏻
youve got a new subscriber
Love this video
Thank you!
Another snowflake afraid of hard work.
Good observations. Thats exactly what Goggins said. It went something like that: "I'm not asking you to be like me. You do you. Stay hard."
This deserves a lot more attention! Thank you for sharing this. I’ve been in a slump lately, this will help.
good lad. liked it
As I commented on another video, I'm on my 7th day of little to no overstimulating activities. This video honestly wasn't that bad to go through, which I think means I am getting a lot better. And doing productive tasks feels a lot better now too. I've failed in the past, but this time I don't think I'm going back because my life has objectively gotten better since I started this.
So awesome! Once I saw how incredible it is, I could never go back to wasting hours a day scrolling. Maybes it’s 30 mins here and there but I always catch myself before it becomes hours
@@aidanwhitsitt yup. I took my computer science and math exams today, and I think I did really well on them. I won't get my scores back for at least a week though.
Today is my 7th day of no video games and little to no "useless UA-cam videos" and I was able to study a lot more than I expected this week. I'm feeling super good about my computer science exam tomorrow now. Definitely worth giving a try.
That’s awesome! Keep it up 💪
How do you keep your watch time of "useless youtube videos" low? Kinda struggling with that
@@diarrhea2004 Honestly, I kind of just did it via willpower. Of course, you can delete "useless youtube videos" from your watch history to make them appear less often and watch more "useful youtube videos" to make those appear more often. Something I did was watch a lot of computer science related youtube videos as I'm a computer science major in college. This way I was doing something a lot more productive than before, but without having to put in a ton of effort. When I first started, I only did actual work for like an hour a day and then slowly upped it from there. Now I don't really struggle to do like 5 hours of productive work each day.
About time the algo picks up ur content. I can tell you've been grindin and deserve all the success that comes to you!
I really appreciate it!
Wow, thanks Im doing this
Let’s go! 💪
Thanks my guy I didn't realize how important it is to be human and not necessarily perfect 24/7 I found this video very useful
Glad to hear it!
This is a very nice initiative, I didn't expect high quality content from such an underrated channel. One thing I think would be beneficial is not only to detox for a set specific period of time like a week or a month as it gives your brain an idea as to when you can start using all the brain-rot apps again. Day by day, as you grow closer to the end of your detox, your brain will be more focused towards when the detox is ending rather than focusing on normalising your dopamine baseline. Instead, I recommend just shutting down all forms of social media and distractions, no going back doesn't give your brain hope of that dopamine spike ahead after the detox is over. It would be much easier then, for your brain to reconstruct its reward strategy and prioritising productive tasks like spending time with your loved ones, or reading a book, doing your job more efficiently, and overall leading a good and healthy life. Trust me, once you do this and get out of this trap the entire world is falling into, its very easy to realise how easily others are just being unconsciously controlled by technology giants trying to make money out of you. You start to realise that there's a broader meaning to life and that is how you win at life. To anyone who is going to start this journey, Good Luck and I hope you do well :)
Good vid
Thank you!
It's good to set goals and even better to actually work towards them. If you strive to be someone else, you will never be that person or do the things that they have done exactly. If you want to be hard or disciplined or skilled like Goggins, you can be, but you can't be him exactly. It's good to do things that make you stronger physically and build mental toughness, there are other forms of strength though - like the sort of strength you have to have to support people around you and make sure they're doing OK. You can have both. I would personally just rather build a lot of consistency in my training - get out every day and work on my body, work on my mind, even on days that are more restful - and take care of the people around me. At this point it doesn't matter to me how my own routine compares to that of other people, comparing myself to others won't make me work harder or get stronger. Would be cool to run a 100-miler or do thousands of pullups in a day, will I ever get there? Maybe. Goggins has a positive message but a lot of dudes will make the mistake of comparing themselves to him and wanting to be like him, it's just the fitness or mental toughness equivalent of keeping up with the Joneses... He got there through his own journey in life, if you set your own goal independent of how you compare to people or things outside of you that you don't control, you will probably be able to reach it too. That does not mean that it has to be the same goal as David Goggins. Could be just as hard or harder to accomplish though. Up to you.
Okay but how do u keep this? I always find myself downloading the apps gradually again,, great video new sub
I don’t do this all the time, but detoxing has gotten me to the point of seeing how impactful it is and I’m very intentionally not to spend much time at all scrolling or mindlessly consuming. Thanks for the support!
A video worth watching man! Keep moving :)
I appreciate it man!
Ill make this the last video I watch until 2025
Let’s go!!
It's always those masterpieces by small creators, wishing you all the best bro! U got a new sub!
Exactly!!
Thanks man! Super encouraging!
Most people with Goggins easily overlooked his broken body which he was born with. He could be dead any time because of his father's rage and violence. Maybe he would have died in a sort of gangster thug-like life. In some way, he's like Forrest Gump ...."not smart" person who has achieved impossible things for one life.
How long am I supposed to stare at the wall?
Until you feel motivated to do something productive
i clicked on this video without looking at anything except the title. but holy crap, it just has over 200 views and 30 likes at the time i am watching this video. this video deserves more views for someone who has been through the "self-improvement loop". keep up the good work mate!
I appreciate it man!
How did you delete youtube.
Off my phone
UA-cam is owned by Google and because of that it is considered a system app on Android but that's not the case in iOS
You can disable it
Goggins says himself. Don't try to be him. You can turn your life around with his wisdom. Just don't try to be him. I used to listen to motivational videos to get in the mood for the gym. Now i listen when I'm on my way there
Very good vid!
Thank you!
This is the video the whole world needs to see! Thank you for the enlightenment!
thanks man we need that!!
One more point. Remember in David’s first book he said he had a child. Nothing more is mentioned in the books on him being a father.
The problem is not the message, it’s the people who misread it. That’s just human nature.
Awesome freaken video bro! Definitely gonna finish out the year with a much needed dopamine detox
Let’s go! Thank you bro!
I already tried that, and it was extraordinary, listen to him, because if you to grow now a days, addiction is easy to access, and it just ruins lifes like the domino effect.
Whassap Aidan, did you read limitless, I loved it! If you didn't read it, put it down to the list.
@@MengoKlaim Haven't read it, I will add it to the list, thanks!
Don´t run from yourself trying to be more than human, face your self instead and be a true whole human - chase Self compassion + Compassion for the world.
He does face himself. Thats his driving force.
@@ohcrikey-bd6dr Yes, he face himself to remember that he is not enough, that is his fuel to run ahead, but he should accept himself as enough, really learn to love himself (despite the opinion of others) so that he could reach true internal peace and joy, without them, we cannot be real compassionate humans.
Great advice💯💪🏾
Stay hard.. fuck ordinary 🔥
Been a victim of taking the self improvement grind way too seriously. Cut off everyone and everything I previously enjoyed doing, and became absolutely miserable. Nothing wrong with having a little fun sometimes, but still remaining disciplined, and doing everything in moderation. Self improvement can be a trap if you make it your idol.
