I run over 100 km in it so far. Summerized: a fast,comfort, stable with heel couter, racing shoe. Unfortunally the durability of the outsole at the heel is very poor. More or less completly gone after only 100km. I can wear other shoes typically 700km+.

Did the Frequenza run true to size for you or did you go up 1/2 size as suggested by Diadora?

The N green ruins this color way for me

Just went on my first run in these yesterday; despite sub-optimal conditions (it was REALLY hot, I was operating on a little less sleep due to traveling), I practically felt like I was running on a conveyor belt. The energy return basically runs for you. Yes, did have some dye bleeding on my socks, but I will take it.

I found the Flow to be way too firm, and I tend to like firm. I use them only for treadmill or walking now. Topo has surpassed Altra in quality and comfort.

How does the upper fit? Is it true to size length-wise or do you recommend sizing up/down? What about the volume, especially compared to the quite-roomy Mach 5? You mentioned they changed what you would've wanted, but didn't tell us what that was. Love to hear more. Thanks!

Use the Mach 5 .....but I am looking forward to the Mach 6.....not plated fast/full range option ....👌

I ain't happy with Hoka atm. Their new Mach 6 have totally been changed from one of their best selling sneakers, the Mach 5. They have increased the stack height BY A WHOPPING 8MM, making it like about 2mm less than the Clifton's. So now, for the Mach loyalists and ppl who wanted a lower stack and closer to the ground more controlled "feel the ground a little " preference, then there is nothing there for us now.... the choice is gone now. Ppl who wanted the higher stack had the Clifton's and those who loved the more sporty Mach specs had the Machs..... now these 2 models and their other models are too close together and Mach loyalists have been left high and dry. And on the trails, they are doing the same with the Torrent 4s coming out soon. Stack has been raised to similar to their other trail models so nothing there for those whom like that lower stack. No variations now. I won't be buying any of these Hoka's now and they have nothing for my needs and preferences so they have lost me. What sort of dumb ppl are running Hoka???

I don't think the Wave Sky 4 or 5 have a "Wave Plate," as you keep saying.

I do well w/ the 4, which is better than the 3. Some say this is tighter, and not as cushioned as the 4. Idk.

I saw these shoes have the first hook from below not covered in the internal part of the shoes. This causes the metal part to press against the ankle. The covering textile is too thin and doesn't really protect. How did you experience this? The shoes seem really good but for that price I want to avoid wasting extra time to fix them.
