Hey so I just did my kitchen renovation, right? If you haven't watched that video go watch it! But I wanted to do something fun and different for the first video in the new filming space so I decided to do something League of Legends related! My partner was telling me about the lore behind Noxus (and all of Runeterra tbh) and he told me about Pantheon! And then he told me about Baker Pantheon and I was like "say less, cutie." Immediately jumped online and researched everything I could about Baker Pantheon and learned that Baker Pantheon is indeed just a skin you can purchase in League of Legends? But Pantheon himself is a bad baker? His story made me CRY I will need 3-5 business days to recover emotionally but I refuse to suffer alone so here's the link for it. READ IT. Anyway I decided to bring Baker Pantheon's Cherry Pie Shield to life and this is how it went.

Recipe For Pie Crust:
2 Cups Very Cold Butter cut into cubes
5 Cups All Purpose Flour, Spooned and Leveled
2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
12-16 Tsp Ice Water
Mix flour, salt, and sugar together
"cut in" the butter until sandy
Add in enough water for the dough to just come together
divide into two discs and wrap tightly in plastic wrap and chill for at least one hour in the fridge.
Recipe For Cherry Pie Filling:
5-6 Cups Frozen Sweet and Tart Cherries, Thawed Slightly
Zest of 1 Large Navel Orange
Juice of 1 Large Navel Orange
1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Bean Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 C - 1 Cup Sugar Depending on Preferences (I used 1/2 Cup)
1/4 Cup Cornstarch
Mix the cherries, orange zest, orange juice, almond extract, vanilla bean powder and salt together in a saucepot and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Using a measuring cup, remove and drain off a cup of liquid. The cherries will release a lot of juice and we don't need all of that. Take some of the remaining liquid in the sauce pot and set that aside in another bowl. Add the cornstarch to that liquid and mix well to avoid clumps. Then add the cornstarch slurry to the cherry pie mix. Mix on medium heat for about 5 minutes until it's nice and thick. Allow it to cool completely before using in pie.
Preheat the oven to 400 Degrees F.
Roll out your pie crust to line your pie dish and remove the excess around the edges.
Roll out the top pie crust and set aside.
Fill your pie with the cooled cherry pie filling.
Add the pie crust for the top.
If desired, brush the crust with egg wash and place in the oven.
Bake at 400 for 30 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350 and back for another 20 minutes.
Cool completely before consuming!
