DS Lite PCB installed in our custom metal shell, converting to a "Macro". Our shell has a cutout for type-C and buttons for screen swapping if desired.

Until I get revised parts, cutting will make assembly easier.

This is a possible fix for discoloration showing up on the LCD screen after the back is installed in the unhinged housings. Let me know if this works for you!

Our front only metal GBC housings fit non-laminated Q5 and our screen kits Our most recent metal housings fit the Q5 2.0 (or Q5 1.0 with extra work). We may offer the laminated screens later.

If trying other hinges does t solve your hinge fit issue, try enlarging the outside diameter of the hinge.

Update on the SP and plastic bushing installation.

For everyone that didn’t like the Unhinged SP here is the folding version for you! I shall call it “The hinged” SP. This is a prototype. The production version has cut outs on the side for type C and for the headphone jack.

Adjustable supports keep the front surface off the platform. This prevents the buttons from pushing the inside parts out of position when fastening. Thick aluminum platform, Delrin supports. Available at boxypixel.com
