After hunting big and small game with a bow and a rifle, hunting in dry conditions and in snow and rain, and hunting near the trail and in the back country, by foot and by horse, our team went through a lot of gear before we found the best options.
We are not biased towards products, other than their quality.
We use the gear that we recommend, and aren’t paid to use the gear.
We are here to help the reader attain their goals.
We research and provide the information needed, so the reader can make a solid decision as efficiently as possible.
We exist to provide you, our reader, with recommendations for the best gear for your hunts and the best hunts for your gear. We also provide you “how to” advice on gear from a network of seasoned hunters, fishing experts, trusted guides, wildlife biologists and other outdoor enthusiasts you can trust!
We want to save you time in the process of finding and selecting the right gear for your hunts without breaking the bank.
We like “top shelf.”

The Intimidator!!! The new bugle that does more than just bugle!!!
This is a simple intro into a bugle tube that does more than just bugle. This bugle tube was designed to sound like a bull who's trying to sneak into the herd bulls bedroom and still his cows. This tube can be used to rake the ground or tree, glunk like the big bulls, and also bugle!
Other options during a calling session using the Intimidator is to make cow sounds, calf sounds, or scream and chuckle like a big bull!!! The Intimidator is a lightweight compact tube that easily fits on the side of your pack or around your shoulders, if you use the optional paracord. No longer will you need to figure out how to carry the tube, or worry about the mouth piece being through the dirt when you take a seat in the woods.

Colorado Elk Hunt 2020 - Getting Ready!
Awesome I was looking to get one thanks 🙏🏽
Nice review, will get me a full set. Directly from the US at it seems as the pricing here in Germany is ridicolous.
Will the ram pro work on the riser? Can you try it and upload a video?
Get that thing tuned up and ready for the season! 🏹 🦌
Carbon element (Hoyt)???

Awesome! Send pics of your bull!!!
Hey that’s Chris!
Yep. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Heck yea!
Keep up the practice!
Wow
It’s tough for sure
I hear American flag print crocs are the only way to go.
That would be a challenge in the snow during a hunt in Wyoming... lol
Good hunt my friend ❤
Definitely
So cool!
This is SO COOL Chris!!! You have coffee too!!!?? 😃😃😃
Yes we do
We will be getting us some for Elk camp this year!!
I'm not a hunter so I'm sooo confused at this moment ...😅
:) hunt more
I love the Nock On t-shirt! San Antonio TAC is better because of Nock On! Cool!
I love my RTIC. It was gifted to me but I’m trying to figure out how to get through 3 days of camping with it lol ❤❤❤❤😂❤❤❤
I really appreciate your video, I was trying to understand a bunch of things and you answered every question I had. Thanks
I just got my first audad here in beautiful del rio tx! Nice hunt, brothers !

What outfitter did you use

Nope!
Game changer
I've owned four releases two thumb and two hinge and this one is by far the best of the bunch. If you set the tension just right you'll see the difference and what this fellow is saying is correct. In setting the tension use the method favoured by John Dudley. It's not a cheapie by any means but it's not Stan-type prices, I'm not particularly eager to spend tons of cash but I'd say in this case it was money well spent.
Very comprehensive video
Nice job on audio 😑
Great review! Thanks for showing us the differences. Also, it’s pronounced “kif AR oo”.
I use my bow spider to hang bows on my wall at my house, on my belt at the range, to hang my bow when in a treestand and attach my bow to my pack. It's become a big part of my gear.
Did no one notice he took out two cups on the first scoop on the yeti, but d said one cup. I counted 8 cups for the yeti.
Almost looks like that guy shooting behind ither folk might just be camera angle
Sheep are notorious for being hard to kill. It comes from genetic pressure to survive falls in the mountains. Deer don't have that problem.
Hey I just need it to last 8 hours
Is there any need for the corrosion protection with storing a bow that pelican offers in this situation
Depends on location... coastal area, probably something to consider.
is that an Oregon State sticker on your window?
Go Beavs!
Brother! I’m subbed!
Your video needs some close-ups so detail can be seen. It would also be helpful if the viewer could see you actually shoot with it.
Ive always worried about the knurling on the Last Chance Green scratching up my limbs.
not sure I've ever had that problem
@@eaglecapoutdoors that's good to hear, maybe ill get one.
Wapiti on the Wall desperately needs a pardner, looks lonely
Someone came up with a great add to the vid!
I did the same thing they sent me to their website and they are out of stock. Apparently it depends on who gets your email. Not happy thathe cooler costs so much and yet the latches are so fragile.
Thank you for the great review, we really appreciate your honesty! Couple of notes: 1. Forloh is 100% USA made! So you are supporting American workers when you buy our gear, and those workers are making products at a much higher level of pride and workmanship. 2. That is the waterproof Softshell rain Jacket that’s being reviewed. It is a bit heavier than the AllClima Rain Jacket, because it’s fleece lined. We added laser cut holes in the main pockets to add more options for breathability. It is my go to all season jacket. 3. RECCO search and rescue passive Diode Reflector is installed in the hood, and the hoods of all rain jackets we make, as well as backpacks. We are the only hunt/fish brand to employ search and rescue tech. A helicopter can fly an 80 mph grid and locate you within 6 ft of your location from 1/2 mile away! Broken leg in the backcountry, don’t worry we have your back! 3. The access to your inner pants pockets that you mention, yes we thought about that, but wanted to limit openings that could possibly become water ingress issues down the road. We instead put 2 hand pockets and 2 cargo pockets instead, so that you can transfer that stuff to the rain pants. The opening you were referring to is a inner thigh vent. 4. We reinforced elbows, knees and instep of this set with Forloh Ultrasuede which is some of the toughest and quietest stuff on the planet. It originates from the USA auto upholstery industry, and has an abrasion rating of at minimum 256,000 cycles (closest competitor is around 50k).
This is truly great gear and is my go to rain gear!
Which model is this exactly? I’m confused on the different ones, as far as specifically rain jackets I see the allclima 3L and the airalite rain.
That is the AllClima 3L. We also have the AllClima Softshell which has the same membrane and is also water proof. The main difference is it’s fleece lined, has laser cut venting holes in the pockets, and is a bit more quiet and athletic cut. The. You have the Airalight that is our lightest most packable rain jacket that is built for warm weather.
That's a nice piece of outdoors kit, thanks for the video.
EXCELLENT review kind sir! Too bad Yeti discontinued that hopper backpack with the zipper. Been looking hard for one. Bought a XYLOTO one that looks just like it in the mean time.
I think they had some issues with the zippers so they moved away from that design but I still really like the zipper idea.
Hey! how do those two cases compare in durability? do one seam like it can take more abuse?
both are great cases. my all time fav is the skb
You did an excellent job with this video. However, I think you should take it down because it is soooo outdated. It was actuate when you posted this video, but there have been so many updates to both devices that it isn't even funny. The Bivy in particular doesn't even look that that anymore. Could you do a new review of both devices?
Great input and we were thinking about that... just need to get ahold of the updates.
@@eaglecapoutdoors Thanks for not chewing me out for this post. The ACR Bivy Stick app is free online. But to do the updates for the device itself you will need one of the new ones. If you don't mind, here is a link to a short review I did last year. You can see how different they are now. ua-cam.com/video/TTlVmfMteYY/v-deo.html
