Bartlow's BBQ
United States
Приєднався 24 бер 2020
As a pastor, I find great joy in serving my community. In my spare time, I've channeled my passion for food into creating Bartlow’s BBQ, a family-owned, faith-based business with deep roots in Oklahoma’s rich heritage.
Inspired by my Grandpa Neal, who was a local grocer and butcher, our love for good food was passed down through generations.
My dad's passion for grilling ignited an interest in backyard bbq. From high school graduations to new homes, a grill was always a milestone gift. As a dad myself, I shared this passion with my kids, turning our kitchen into a flavorful test kitchen.
These family memories fueled my desire to create exceptional BBQ rubs and sauces. I'm excited to share my passion and help you elevate your grilling game.
So, next time you fire up the grill, remember: it's not just about the meat, it's about the memories. Join us in spreading less hate and more love, one delicious bite at a time.

Wonder if you injected the breasts with melted butter and melted bacon grease?
I did not do that in this test, but I wonder if adding that as part of the process would’ve made the difference in a better comparison.
Thanks for the review! Did anyone tell you that you sound like Joe Rogan?
You bet, that’s the first time I’ve heard that. 😀
Where can I order this product from. I’m from Southern California

@ You are welcome
How does the pellet joe compare to the Konnect? Which one do you prefer?
I personally prefer be connected Joe. You get that automation set it and forget it experience but with lump charcoal I think you get a far superior product. The Pella Joe is definitely a solid option. I’ve just had a few different issues but nothing I couldn’t resolve from my technology or equipment standpoint.
🤤🤤🤤
So tasty!
So good!
Not much value in this video. Among the lacking information is: how flat was the temperature curve. Is it as flat at 225? 450? With a full load of charcoal, how long can the system hold 250? Chicken thighs is a bad choice for this system, nobody would use it for that. Fans are used when we want 8-16 hours low and slow. Missed opportunity here….
I appreciate the feedback and you bring a valid point to showcase this product for longer cooks. I didn’t have time for a longer cook for a timeline I had but there will be future videos testing that out. I wanted to highlight the product more as an overview with what i had in the fridge. Stay tuned.
Do you know how to turn off the beeping sound when turning the device on and off?
Let me find out from Typhur. Not sure you can.
From Typhur: currently not possible to disable the turn on/off sound. However, we’ve already shared this feedback with our R&D team. They will work on optimizing and improving the user experience based on everyone’s input.
I'm betting there will be a fair number of these under Christmas trees this year. Great price point👍😊
💯
Which version of the Pro Temp 1 did you choose? I have a Big Joe 1 and it says universal fit or Big Green Egg as the options.
Select universal one for classic or big joe.
@@BartlowsBBQ thank you so much.
@ You bet!
@BartlowsBBQ another informative video scott. Over the summer I ended up getting a fireboard 2 pro because so many good feedback. Im definitely not disappointed and it's my KJ classic like a breeze for long overnight cooks.
Thank you. It’s a nice assist for overnight cooks.
I'll definitely check this thing out. The price is nice!
Good price point no doubt.
Try this ! After cooking, let cool the grill then just throw your grates on the grass. Leave them overnight so the dew work its way onto the grime. The following morning they are just so easy to brudh clean.
Great tips!
Thank you! Your video gave me confidence to get a solo stone bonfire. Great job explaining with patience the list.
You are welcome, you will enjoy it!
Hi, I am looking to get a solo stove and surround. Trying to decide between Yukon and canyon. I have an existing fire pit with mortared stone and it has a cap with inside diameter dimensions of about 45” at narrowest point. (the cap stones are irregularly shaped) This was originally built as a gas fire pit, but we didn’t really like it because it wasn’t very warm, it made a whooshing noise, and I needed the space where we kept the 100 gal LP tank. Anyway, I have a question-I am wondering how far in from the outer edge of the surround’s “apron” the outermost vertical support is on the large surround. I know the outside diameter is 52”
11 inches from inner surround to outer 7 inches from mid center to outer 12 inch’s top to bottom of apron 23 inches wide apron Not sure if that answers what you are looking for but hope that helps.
@ thank you. I am actually looking from the outer edge to the vertical support, because I am going to drop it in to existing structure, and I need to see if the legs of the surround will fit in. I am appreciative for the other measurements you posted.
@ it looks like it’s 2 1/2 inches from outer support to vertical leg support.
@@BartlowsBBQ Oh darn, that won’t work. haha Back to the drawing board.😀 thanks
@ Also, this is the bonfire size.
@BartlowsBBQ hey brother scott great video. Im looking forward to smoking the big turkey breast I got from HEB while I was in Texas.
Awesome, I bet that will turn out awesome! Thank you!
That turkey breast looked awesome! Great video!

You really can't go wrong with either butter or bacon flavor. Great comparison👍😊

Nice new smoker. I've been looked forward to the debut unless I've missed one. You've given me some ideas. I have some sweet red dirt to try on my upcoming turkey breast. Can you cover the temp probe with foil without any issues or should you poke it through the foil? Blessings pastor!
Thank you so much. Will be launching a 12 video back to back series. Next up is a biscuit test and then a few other traditional things.
Looks tasty!
Absolutely, so good!

How is Gold different from the previous version?
They added there advanced Sub-1G technology which guarantees a strong, stable signal up to 3000 feet, penetrating obstacles like walls, smokers, and ovens. With Typhur app’s Wi-Fi connectivity, monitor cooking anywhere, anytime-whether you’re upstairs, at the gym, or running errands. From the website.
Thanks for video, I just ordered the pellet joe, to add to my gathering collection of komados😂 Question: I was closing the lid on my Big joe3 and the lower latch /little metal piece that the allen wrench loosens and tightens, fell to the ground…are u familiar with this happening and how do I repair it, because I have not been able to get that piece to stay?
You are welcome. Yeah, it’s common and needing to continue to tighten bolts is part of the deal especially if you use it a lot.
you must be joking. there is a bark in a freaking sausage. never tried one but really want one.
So good, more like great color!
Yum🔥
so good
Great job
thanks
I have had same model, minus the golf cart option, for about 18 months. Love it, easy to maintain the temp. As you saw, i wish the fire box was just a few inches bigger. I buy my wood, from a supplier, and their sticks are about three inches longer than the fire management box... Only complaint. Will last forever, it is a tank!!!!!!
Yeah, that is a good point about the firebox and stick length. I will say after 10 cooks already the 8 inch sticks from smokey woods has been awesome. Still about every 45 minutes adding a new one.
@BartlowsBBQ great review brother. LSG is definately a top notch smoker frabricator. Hopefully i can get one, one day. Were you neighbors jealous while you were uncrating that bad boy?
Thank you so much. Oh yeah, neighbors are awesome and always trying to feed them. 😀
Is this your first LSG
Yes, my very first one.
Yes get that brisket ready
💯
Looks great! I’m curious to hear your opinion on the firebox after you’ve used it for a while.
Thank you so much, will do. I have done about 10 cooks within this month after receiving it.
Ribs ribs and more ribs!
oh yeah, definitely happening!
Didn't you have to bolt the chimney on, too?
Yes, I missed saying that but super straight forward and easy to put on. Great catch!
Congrats on the new pit. LSGs are solids pits. I’d love for you to do a video on why you chose the LSG over the competition. I’ve had my eye on Workhorse Pits or Blue Smoke Smokers for a while. LSG has gotten so expensive and WHP is pretty pricey now. BSS seems to be same quality but a better price. Would love to hear why you went with LSG. I love the shot in the video of your Kamado joe corral. And I bet your neighbors looooooove you and all your cooking. BBQ brings people together and I bet they love knowing you!!!
Thank you so much! Great idea on doing a video why i chose LSG. I’ll definitely add that to my list. I try to feed the neighbors well. 😂

Thanks for the video, I want to try this. I’m just curious how cleanup was on the paella pan? Did you have to do anything special to get it back clean? Thanks!
