I'm an artist trying to learn how to make things in 3D, why don't we do it together ;)
Right way to get the 2D look in 3D Blender!
This is a quick breakdown of how i got the 2D look in 3D Blender. I use a combination of 2D and 3D elements to get this look with the 2d Shader/2d Texture. I hope you'll like it ! Meanwhile, I will continue preparing new stuff, hopefully another breakdown or tutorial. #b3d

This is so nice! Please make more videos
This was such a pleasing video to watch, thanks for sharing your timelapse tips & tricks! What you said about the blade of grass is, unfortunately, too real. Still, amazing job!
This actually looks amazing! But don't you need to do the UV part to take it in substance?? It'll be really helpful if you add how you do the UV parts too✨
Nice video but the music is way too loud.
Really good stuff- but it's hard for me to follow parts of it because of the background music, which is loud compared to your vocal. As you get a little older you may find that extracting spoken language from background noise gets more challenging, even if your hearing is still sharp in other respects. I hope you will take this into account in making future tutorials.
Sorry about that, I will most definitely keep that in account.
This is the best video for painterly effect in blender
Thanks a lot, buddy!
Did you use lighting in your scene?
Yes, but only to brighten certain parts of the scene.
Really good video!!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
3D artist will do anything outside of making 2D. great vid
We try to do our best! We still love 2D though :)
This was one of the coolest things ive watched in ages, love the style its the 3d style i wanna create
That means a lot! Would love to see your result
moooooooooooooooooooooore
Beautiful! Do you have recommendations for achieving similar results outside of substance painter? Would it be easier to try to do it in Blender or draw textures in 2D with drawing software? Or is there another 3D drawing program that costs less?
Great Question! You can achieve this directly on Blender itself using blender's Texture Paint feature.
Wow 😲❤ , it's so fabulous.. but so fast😂, we need to see the details slowly pro 😅 , keep growing ⚘
how did you get a cartoony look in substance painter ? I like that it looks flat, when im using substance painter the reflections of lighting doesn't make it look "cartoony".
Really simple actually. In substance painter, at the top right corner in the viewport, you should see a dropdown with "Material" written on it. Click on it and change it to "Base color." This should do the trick :)
@@IsacPandian thanks brother, appreciate it 🤝. Base color makes it a lot easier to tweak the color and studying real paint techniques also takes this up to 200% .
I was hoping you'd show some procedural or Blender lighting technique for that saturated shadow line (subsurface scattering or whatever it's called), not a bad video regardless.
Well, Guess what, I am working on a video regarding that. so stay tuned :)
Send Brushes pls <3
Hey! You can actually get it on Behance for free (Search for "Free Photoshop Brushes" in Behance) There are a lot of options. Hope this will help :)
Yo this is actually so helpful for me thank you 😊
:D Glad you liked it!
Really cool !! ♥
Thanks! truly really appreciate it :)
this is cool
:D Thanks!
oh yeah this is excellent!
Oh! wait until you see what i have planned for future, you will be even more amazed :D
Beautiful work!
Thanks a Lot! :)
Amazing result! Gonna have to do some painting technique research myself
Go for it! there are some great resources out there.
god pa
Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply. Its nothing fancy, Render Engine: EEVEE Sample Rate: 128 rest all setting like ambient occlusion, bloom, etc.: OFF That's it actually, Glad this helps. :)

Amazing work! Also how’d you get the chromatic aberration?
Using the ‘Lens Distortion’ node while composing. You can grab the project file for free. It’s in the video description
