Skin net and illusion net are the same,as the name is interchangeably used often times. What i have here are skin/illusion net as these nets tends to give an illusion that the wearer isn't wearing anything hence why it is called skin net. The corset mesh on the other hand is quite sturdier and static( it doesn't stretch). This is used for creating corset for plus sizes as it hugs their body more. However ,take note that the corset mesh isn't skin friendly reason why it's still overlaid with skin net. I hope this answers your question.

@@chayil_Apparel ma what if there is a need for the allowance to be loosened .. how will the lace be enough

@@lopeexquisite4679 it is expected that before you do your lace placement at all, your client must have come for the 1st or even 2nd fitting. Most times this is even done directly on the client's body. So make sure you have fitted the dress before any form of embellishment or lace placement. That way,there won't be any need for you to make any adjustments afterwards.

You are welcome!. By visible, is it on the skirt itself or on the corset. If it is on the skirt,then your method of stitching might be the issue. The reason why you tuck 0.5" in on the skirt waist line is to conceal the stitches. So always flip the skirt to the wrong side before stitching. If you are working directly with the client, use this method I used ,all your stitches should be concealed under the 0.5" allowance you tucked in on the waistline. Making the thread into 4 will surely make it more stable or tighter but that still depends on your methods of hand stitching. I hope this is helpful.
