Thanks. For some reason the Android port of war of the lions always messes up at the Port scene with Delita. I really like the cutscenes and can't bring myself to skip them when playing.

Delita telling my lvl 99 Knight of a Ramza, dual wielding Excaliburs (Switching shield and sword and then Best Fitting that at a shop that has a fur trader, then removing whatever offhand it puts in your off hand trick, I feel old), that he wouldn't hesitate to kill me bro? *Big Loud Laugh! Gonna point something out to everyone, and once you know it - you can't unknow it. *Every single cutscene in the game* has a moment where a character will trail off while looking into the middle distance, the screen will go black and the music will stop, then they'll dramatically say a line or two while the screen in black. I have no idea who directed all these cutscenes. Honestly, I'd say they're great in isolation. But thought wasn't taken into consideration how these scenes would interact with eachother. It's extremely silly once you notice :).

I would have never ever guessed that Hermes Conrad from Futurama is Ramza Beoulve, fitting to his shy but noble persona

I despise the scorn that is heaped on this retranslation to this day. They took what had one of the most broken and awkward localizations and rose it from ash to be the finest English script of all Final Fantasy, absolutely hands down, the finest. There is great English prose to be found here, although most of it is not in these few animated cut scenes. Although Delita's explanation of his motives to Ovelia here is now absolutely chef kiss perfection. "I will exact from them the price of their gluttonous feast!" And what a reckoning is in store! But, in the end only to add to his sorrow. The retranslation uses metaphor with wild abandon but it's always worded so fitting and delivered so eloquently it never stales. Paramount to all other things is all is done with well executed brevity, that thing which Shakespeare called "the soul of wit". One of my favorite lines is when Folmarv reveals to Ovelia she is not actually Ovelia. It's a good encapsulation of all the qualities I just mentioned: "You are a straw doll placed in an empty crib" It's so needlessly cruel but also says everything at once in one sentence. Her entire life has been a lie, and it still will be, but now you know you are a nothing, you never even got to have your own identity, nobody even knows your name or anything else about you. You are completely replaceable, and the proof of that claim is in you yourself already being a replacement. That you have been was pre-ordained. That you've been locked away with holy men for so long you are become another discardable creature, kept solely for convenient access to a useful name.

The Lore of this FF is the most terrifying and bloodthirsty of the entire franchise

This story is better than Game of Thrones, and this love story is definitely better than Twilight’s

This game has been on my mind since I first played it when it released on ps1, later played it on psp, now on Ipad

I was alway bothered by the contrast between the amazing art and the void of those faces. It was hard taking them seriously. Their lack of a nose is so weird in that detailed art of everything else

I like it, but as I remember correctly Delita killed the princess in the end.

I loved both versions of this game

This game really depressed me when I first played it years ago. It still has the same impact when I found out what happened to Ovelia and Delita. Ramza, the true hero, would be forgotten and Delia would be remembered until the Durai papers.

Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together are fantastic tactical RPGs and the story of these games put most modern RPGs to shame .... Sadly they dont make games like these anymore ....

Most people want a sequel. I'd be really interested in a prequel set in Ajora's time.

Who else think Agrias Oaks is the most badass female character in the entire FF series? A female Holy Knight protecting a princess. She needs more screen time.

PS: Delita is such a piece of shit. I was always aching to hand him a beating for that big mouth of his and ungrateful behavior. No idea why Ramza just takes his garbage. Delita milks the victim card while completely ignoring Ramza's sincere desire to help. He grew up with Ramza as a brother, yet turns on him over events beyond his crontrol, then threatens to kill him every other encounter. Seriously, fuck him. I'd kill him right there in that church by this point. Delita alone was the architect of his own misery.

It's cool that the uploader went back and marked the chapters of the video when the update came round. Some youtubers who uploaded 3-6 vids a week can't even be bothered to do that. Or does UA-cam do that automatically?

I sorta understand that you can etch memory with a sword, but 'in' a sword is strange. All the more how do you do that with stone. If you think about the story, it is passed down thru paper documents and scrolls. There isn't really any stone tablets that convey the story, and the auracite never really makes it to modern day. Curious choice of words.
