Ex Vegan Goes Carnivore For 48 Hours
As someone who recently was a die hard vegan, I never thought I would be trying out this challenge: going CARNIVORE for 48 hours. The results/before and after of this carnivore challenge were insane. It definitely made me question what I used to believe back when I was a vegan...

I tried EVERY Andrew Huberman Protocol for a week...
Переглядів 322Місяць тому
This week, I challenged myself to live the Andrew Huberman lifestyle for 7 days. Which essentially meant that I was doing every single protocol, routine, and workout that he's discussed for a week. Much easier said then done, however. I was SHOCKED by how complex his optimal morning routine, scientifically proven workout plan, and other protocols were. All in the name of science though, right? ...

    You do know that you can buy caffeine pills & NOT worry about the coffee. Also do NOT need fiber, you’re going to💩no matter what. And since you’re NOT doing true carnivore you could have drank your coffee. There are different paths/choices. Should have looked into it a bit more. ✌🏻

    The thing with Carnivore is; you need a bit of fat to sustain the calories, especially when your exercising on top of it. The headache could have been caffeine withdrawal, but also You need to replace some salts that you would get elsewhere, so salting your steaks would be good. Due to the amount of protein you won't usually feel hungry as much as on a regular diet, i wouldn't know about the vegan diet however i have never done a vegan diet. The carnivore diet, generally people lose a lot of weight initially because of the above factors, it is easy to underestimate the fat/caloric needs of the body. And finally, 2 days is not long enough generally to be on this diet, i did it for 2 weeks; and noticed great changes including: I did not smell as bad, i went to the bathroom less, i had great clarity; wasn't so foggy in the mind. My mental health improved, i never 'crashed' ever. i always felt my energy levels after eating to be pretty consistent and good at all times. Always satisfied/full. Weight loss. However i would say it can get boring; if your going into it unprepared/no recipes. And that is no doubt a consequence of having a varied, albeit rather terrible diet of carbohydrates etc on my end. After 2 weeks though you don't miss foods on the normal 'diet' but you certianly get reminded of them and that can be rough at times.. even when you know this diet makes you feel good. :)

    Would it make sense to say that Payton didn't need to sit down to go to the toilet because he fully digested the food that he was eating(the meat)? Human body doesn't fully digest fruit and vegetables, so you need to get rid of undigested food by going to the toilet.

    I just started running last month, and boy, Chapter 1 is so real. I saw a running event online with a great cause and signed up. Then, I bought some basic running shoes and tried running on my own to prepare without any knowledge of how to do it properly-I just imitated how other runners do it (good thing I didn't injure myself, lol). After 15 runs and two 5km races, I'm still loving every single muscle pain I feel. I'm just now starting to do some research about all the running jargon out there.

    ME WHEN I HAVE TO EAT SUGAR SUGAR = BAD

  • @YassenChapkanov

    What makes you fat is a surplus of absorbed calories regardless of the molecular carrier. You can't escape thermodynamics with healthy labels.

    • @JuliaILewicki
      @JuliaILewicki Місяць тому

      Thats true, its just easier to overeat on carbs than protein

    • @Bloodygat
      @Bloodygat Місяць тому

      That is the whole thing that sugar is absorbed better. Long periods of simple carbs/sugars effect your insulin and insulin packs those calories easily to fat. If you eat a lot of fat, some surplus is also going out on stool, whereas sugar is absorbed very intently. And not to think of insulin resistance and addictive properties that sugar is proven to cause on top of that, it is very easy to even drink a whole day's full of calories worth of sugar and still feel hungry.

    Sugar is basically pure calories. Bad in high intake, but it is the dairy, the meat that, and the three meals a day that are making you fat. Two healthy meals a day, no snacks, cut back on dairy and meat and you'll be fine.

    • @kabenla
      @kabenla Місяць тому

      the opposite is true. more meat, less sugar ( aka carbs)

      And yet foods like cottage cheese and chicken breast are staples for losing fat and building muscle.

      calories are only valid as a heat measurement (so epically uselessness when using it for diet advice). heat has no weight (watch a science video on this). and .. various staples that don’t contain any heat value (like water or salt) are absolutely necessary for health. most conventional dairy has been ruined by ‘ modified milk ingredients ‘ the last years. and. should be avoided like the plague. switch to A2 full fat dairy (from Alberta or European sources from France or Switzerland). ruminant meats (or fatty fish on occasion) should form the base of your diet. legumes, plants, fruit should be low to non existent. think t r a c e . m i n e r a l s … even two meals is unnecessary when eating a proper human diet (lipovore, carnivore, ketovore, paleo). nothing sweet (ever) will be your super power going forward. a small amount of banana bread if you think natural sweetness is okay (it ain’t), can help transition to a real path forward. honey should never be consumed (external applications are therapeutic). see medical honey. and. medical silver bandages. anti microbial is a good thing. just. not when ingesting it. radically conflicts with your microbiome(s). many microbiome places. in the body. females have a couple more than males. so. careful comparing humans that have different hormones. see the UK twins studies. even identical twins express different. same diet. microbes rule us. not the other way around. glad her skin cleared up with her dads test/bet. my dad was a preventative dental surgeon (1946-2018 RIP), we discussed so many things. wish he was still here to debate the current issues we face… the body makes its’ own glucose. so… absolutely no need to ingest any. ever. in a lifetime. (say the carnivore doctors anyhow). if / when / u cave on that concept .. make sure you eat seasonally / local / etc. bananas are an amazing plant. please grow your own wxyz .. or don’t eat it (often). cheers from western canada (the real great white north).
