Hey Kyan, great video. I used to be a ro-racing CC back in the day, but like many others, I've moved on to other content. I have to say, 2020-2022 were the best ro-racing years for me. The community was sadly toxic but it was filled with many passionate people. Genuinely, I miss commentating on ION Racing and those years gave me shoutcasting and leadership experience outside of the corporate world. It would be nice to see something like the community's peak happen again, but with logistics and all, I can understand why it can be hard. After all, those who contributed a lot certainly have moved on to other things now. I wish you the best. Thank you for such a informative video :))

Just to add on, there are many more Stock car leagues than Formula leagues, (i think) and they are still very much alive

the community sucks, most leagues have military level tryouts meaning its nearly impossible to get in unless you completely waste your life away doing ro racing, and theres a lack of good public games that are able to get people into ro racing (yes nascar game sucks sue me)

brazilian ro-racing is very active

im a roblox racing league creator, and even ive noticed it, but what i think it is is lazy ro racers. in my server, in the 1st season, i didnt know what i was doing, 2-3 people would show up, (nascar btw) season 2 was golden, 5-10 racers per race, same with seasons 3-5, until season 6, turned “rigged”. im pissed about it. so i fixed it. it turned fair, so fair, people got mad. and once it got to their favorite tracks, they still didnt come, and all 26 racers were online, lazy kids. so, with 6 races left, i scrapped the whole league, made a new one, and hopefully it works from there. so what im saying is, the reason why people arent coming to leagues, (im not talking about free play games rlly) is because theyre 1. lazy, 2. think its the way you run it is stupid, or 3. they think its rigged. which is why im getting s new start in attempt to grow back to 60+ members again.

hello i am a league owner, been running my league for about 3 years now. Its just not fun anymore. The NASCAR community is almost as worse as the undertale community back when that was the worst thing on earth.

roblox racing is just bad, the only one game I enjoy is f1 2012 silverstone, it has crash physics and is fun to race in instead of just trying to get lap time

NASCAR ro racing is still doing pretty well, but there has been a huge loss with ASCA moving to iracing giving papermate the top spot for the largest NASCAR ro racing league.

imo, just because UA-camrs don't upload videos or games don't update doesn't mean it's dead. Ro-racing isn't dead if you look at leagues, they still do their usual schedule, and drivers do attend. And i would say Formula Roblox even got back from dead, after the 1.21.1 massive update, the player counts were around 5 before it, and now it is constantly having around 20-30. Also, a game doesn't need constant updates to be considered 'not dead', if they game have nothing more to update, then that's it! There's a limit of how many things you can update. Take Formula Apex for example, they already have multiple year cars, even IndyCar and f2, what you expect them to add? All the f1 cars since 1950? I agree with what greezer said, players are asking too much, it's at a point that you are updating just for the sake of 'update', instead of actually bringing anything meaningful. I rather devs take the approach of Formula roblox, 'dead' for 1-2 year and comeback with an astonishing good update. That's the point of an update.

Theres still alot of races exist, but mostly are touge and mountain races. In example theres MRT (midnight racing tokyo) which has clan racing and Slot car racing (rcc)

the F1 2012 hockenheim game is pretty popular due to the wheel to wheel racing, so I would not say that ro racing is dead, most of them have just migrated to those other free roam car games cause some of them are actually innovative

project trackdays f1 cars feel amazing but the lack of good tracks (only about 3 of them are good) and the bumpy ass tracks and how understeery the f1 cars can feel will sometimes push players away especially after i recently bought the rb20 after grinding over 24 hours for it

i just realised its a perfect loop
