Get them both !
Beautiful revolver.
I don't. Think it means anything whether it is counter clockwise, rotation of the cylinder.Or clockwise.
Are you shooting .38 Special or .357 Mag? Nice shooting, by the way. 6/6 on 2 targets
probably 38s.... I have one in 4" barrel and 357 will knock you back into last week.. lol. I usually shoot .38 +p. It's a really beautiful gun, but pretty thin, so you really feel that recoil & shock go through your hands after some 357 rounds.
Hard choice between those 2 🤔
@@dancruze that is true they both are very good
What grips and where did you find them? Altamont?
@@DanSaso I got them on eBay I don’t remember what they are called
Great review and comparison guys 👍🏼🤙🏽
Your channel is great, keep doing content. 👍🏽
Long Tom?
Very cool video!
I just got my Colt King Cobra… ua-cam.com/users/shortsMSh3gak-R6c?si=8csDnda2eWuHmSTi
The K6S DASA is such a neat looking gun. The Colt is nice, but kinda plain. Between these two, I'm choosing the Kimber. Throw a Python in the mix, it might be a different story 🤷♂️
You guys need to practice. Terrible shots and please use double action instead of easier single action.
4:50 does this happen a lot? Ive read failure to eject happens a lot because it uses the same ejector rod as the 2inch version.
@@Yoko.Kurama as long as it’s clean regularly it doesn’t have the problem ejecting
Gravity is your friend. Straight up and down, not sideways.
You lost me after You kept looking at the Python, basically saying you really don't want to review the King Cobra.
Hope you guys post again soon
@@itssswyatt I’m working on getting better Internet so we can go back to making movies again
@@gunbuster7441 looking forward!
Had the Kimber and it kept getting out of time.finally sold it and got the King Cobra and never looked back.
Nice
To the guy on the left with the under god t shirt. the founding fathers were atheist and "under god" was added by religious extremists later. your insinuation that all americans have to believe in god is actually dividing the country and alienating others. atheism is what we were meant to espouse as a nation.
Barrels were probably plugged with ice. I lost interest fairly quickly, but the vid between watering them and attempting to shoot them showed every barrel w ice in them. Glad you didn't get hurt.
Here is a shorter review. K6S is excellent. New Colts suck. Review complete.
The Kimber sucks.mine kept getting out of time and had issues with the trigger as well
@@deanmiller6177bummer
jesus…. be careful dude
I had an old smith & wesson from the 1970's that had those same problems cus anytime u have a revolver thats had thousands of rounds put thru it its now time for a tune up. I took mine to a gunsmith and he gave it a complete tune up replacing some parts and put a new blue finish on it and it was like new again. U should take that Rossi to a gunsmith and have him give it an overhaul and then you'll have a nice gun for more many years to come. Thanks for sharing.
😂
Got a hammerles love the damn thing just small enough with 3in barrel. Would like a snub in double action. Maybe next one I get.
“Here’s our ca…our box..our cardboard box…nothing to really talk about” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great review guys. I can’t get past the Kimber not wanting to extract the casings. Not something you want to happen when you only have 6.
Awesome gun ... wish I could've bought one of these instead of my ruger sp101
yeah but i’ve heard a lot of good things about the rigger SP101.
awesome I just put in an order for 1
I thought they stopped making them.
I had an ancestor at that battle he was with the 24th Arkansas infantry

@@Ureconstructed many websites Wikipedia included agree with me I am done arguing with you you are a immature 10 year old kid having to much fun on memaws Ipad and for an Arkansan your not very nice your probability not even are Arkansan your just a damn Yankee that moved down here now good day sir I have better things to do
@ Scott Morrow is about to call you, kiddo.
@@UreconstructedI am sorry for being rude I would like to learn anything you know about the civil war (not sure if the first one sent so sending another for good measure)
Those idiots have changed that original beautiful shape of the trigger and have shortened the hammer tail that also was more beautiful before. Those grooves for retainer on the cylinder have become longer -- so ugly! They have ruined the Python design! Regarding the ruining of that Royal Blue and Nickel finish it's better I keep my mouth shut.
I was all set to buy a Colt King Cobra, that is until I happened across a Kimber K6s DASA. At the end of the day the much better sights on the Kimber won me over the slightly lighter trigger pull on the Colt. Loved the styling and quality workmanship of the Kimber as well.
4:50 does this happen a lot? Ive read failure to eject happens a lot because it uses the same ejector rod as the 2inch version.
Great video. I was glad to see that you cocked the hammer with your weak hand. I watched a different video where the presenter flipped the cylinder closed. I was disgusted.
Just my opinion, the Kimber should’ve been tested against something more formable like a Smith and Wesson😮
9mm is way better better penetration
My dream to own revolver
Replace the Kimber grip with a nice Hogue rubber grip. Issue solved. 40 bucks.
I recently made that choice. In my area, I had to choose the Colt. If the options were even, I would have chosen the Kimber. The Colt won because of the grip and DA/SA was not available in the Kimber. The sight thing was not in the picture because I am a really old guy and a notch and a ramp is all I expect. I might have chosen either but the DA/SA was the deal breaker. All that said, my handgun for the last 63 years is the 1911A1; it absolutely is my goto and I can hit the x-ring at fifty yards most of the time with it I like the Colt and am still exploring how much. In my profession, I was a 1911 guy and if I was going to be in a fight, that would be my choice.
I’m a revolver guy . I was always a smith and Wesson guy but your little Taurus is very cool . I’m glad you picked it up and gave it a good home. I see you are shooting steel case ammo with no ejection problems which is great . Please don’t put that ejection rod in a vise . Use the Loc-Tite. Cool video, keep shooting and having fun.
Extraction on the Kimber is a deal breaker for me. Shells didn't clear the end of the chambers no amount of cleaning is going to fix that.
Bought a new Colt King Cobra. The trigger broke in the fire position with the firing pin forward. If it would have been loaded at the time. It would have been an accidental discharge. I am a huge Colt fan. I sent back to factory. They repaired sent back to me exact same thing happened two weeks later. I could have been killed. Lost complete confidence in the gun. They let me trade it out for a 1911. Thank God for safe fire arm handling practiced. Otherwise I would have been dead.
That sucks
Is the 686+ 7 rounder (3 inch) significantly thicker at the cylinder ? I’m torn between these two !
fly is open
Just an FYI you should tell viewers barrel length at start of video,it is a 3inch barrel I think.Would love to acquire one very beautiful and well made revolvers.Great job gentlemen!😊
👍Very astute and articulate young men. Kudos!! 🇺🇦💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇦💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇦
Colt revolvers are iconic, but man those kimber's are sweet!😊
Ive got the 462 was my ccw for a long time about a mo. Ago i found its big bro. The 44mag at the gun show been toting it around now
Nice to see young people reviewing firearms!
The Colt has a better name. Let’s keep it a 💯 and all agree on that.
That’s about all the colt really has. The kimber has a better quality control record in my opinion. They are both great revolvers though.
You can conceal a desert eagle with a sweatshirt
I have the same model but, I'm getting those grips. How do you like the fit compared to those mushy houge grips?
they were tight fit at first then after about 300 rounds got a little loose. I would get wood grips with the finger grooves
@@gunbuster7441 Ok.. Thanks
