Changing Gears In My 1970 Dodge Challenger
Ever since I first bought my car the gearing has been an issue. It wasn't a problem until you set tires onto the highway which I do a lot. Ive been trying to figure out what to do about it for a while now. I decided to go with an original overdrive transmission....

My Jeep TJ Starts While Driving. Hu?
Переглядів 332 роки тому
Issues with older vehicles are inevitable. (Customizing them creates more) I got into my jeep one day and headed off to work. Instantly out of nowhere the starter decides to engage intermittently. At first I thought the starter was messed up somehow. I figured maybe in the solenoid something was loose after checking the wires. I replaced it. Thought I fixed it. A few days later while driving I ...
Tuning The Timing On My 1970 Dodge Challenger

So my car was running pretty bad after installing my new motor. I realized I didn't have any kind of timing advance. I mist have had something wired wrong. Regardless I decided to swap in another distributor I used in the past. I was able to get the timing in a better spot. The car ran great until.....
Showering With Carb Cleaner! 1970 Dodge Challenger Running Rough.
Переглядів 302 роки тому
So my new engine runs rough, backfiring / misfiring when lightly accelerating. The car sat for almost a year before this so I decided to clean the carburetor. I take it for a test drive after and the problem slightly changes. I then decided to change the timing a bit. That worked for the most part. But as you will see in an upcoming video, I swap out my distributer for a complete remedy.
Hood Hinge Upgrade on 1970 Dodge Challenger
Переглядів 3612 роки тому
In this video I review a simple improvement I made on my 1970 Dodge Challenger. I remade the hinges on my hood and installed struts instead of the old springs. Its always bothered me having to make sure the hood doesn't hit the fenders when I close it. There used to be so much play side to side with the worn out hinges. I made 2 replacement hinges out of some angle iron and garage door brackets...

Finally a test drive with my new motor. I recently installed a 408 cubic inch stroker into my 1970 dodge challenger. I accidently drop a washer into the intake while removing the carb after it was giving me troubles. Too busy trying to figure that out that I didn't film it.
Help! My 1970 Dodge Challenger wont start.
Переглядів 492 роки тому
So my rebuilt 408 stroker wont crank when hot. First I thought it was the starter. No go. The I thought it was the positive supply to the starter. Again wasn't the case. Then I found out my battery was low the next day so I bought a new one. SCORE! I originally didn't think the battery was the problem because I had checked it with my load tester several times and was always good. It goes to sho...

If you want to protect this car and be definitively efficient against rust , you should put grease everywhere. grease is the only thing very efficient against rust. put grease between metal and carpet, inside door, behind metallic bumper, under the vehicle, behind the repairs you can make (everywhere inside the body - hidden erea - instead of using paint), hollow areas (necessarily hidden, so no need to be aesthetic). For rear wings unreachable with a paintbrush, use an extender and pour old oil everywhere each year. Rust almost always comes from the inside and welds. Handyman Experience - 35 years. From france

God bless. Without blood there is no life and without Jesus Blood no Eternal life. The Gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW THAT CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES; AND THAT HE WAS BURIED, AND THAT HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. Ephesian 1:13=In whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye heard the word of truth, the GOSPEL of your SALVATION: in whom also after that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise. Ephesian 2:8-9=For by GRACE are ye SAVED through FAITH; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of WORKS, lest any man should boast. Romans 3:23-26=For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being JUSTIFIED FREELY by his GRACE through the REDEMPTION that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a PROPITIATION through FAITH in his BLOOD, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which BELIEVETH in Jesus. Without blood there is no life and without Jesus BLOOD no eternal life. ua-cam.com/video/lbb4xwYj19g/v-deo.html Look up Robert Breaker on youtube. As a starting point try 16-18 initial with 34 total. That appears to be what a lot of the Mopar guys work with. From there you can tweak it to your liking. I;m not familiar with the HEi type distributor, so I do not know how you limit centrifugal advance with it. That's the key to finding total.
