What are your thoughts on when a person says to you, "you need to love yourself enough so you aren't needing anything from them"

Watching and listening to Oscar's introduction about himself, i though he was an ego centred bigot that has achieved a lot, but loved talking about it more........ however, i pushed through the whole video and listened to all his insights and reasonings behind why he does the things he does and realized i was painting this false picture, of a man i knew nothing about, because of my insecurities and, i guess, jealousy of someone, who has the right to stand up and own who he is...... so i thank both of you!!!

From what I have seen all they are looking for is only money!

As a mother to bio kids and 2 lots of step kids and who has at different stages of my journey been a stay at home mum, a single mum, a worker, a studier, trying to drive a small business all the things. Through my experience it has shown me that you 100% correst and I resonate with all you have shared here Greg. I have had the blessing to become new mother again at 40 yrs old and there is no way in a thousand lifetimes I would swap the gift of being present with my baby to chase a career and have her raised by someone else. My partner and I sacrifice material wealth by living on 1 main income that he provides so that all 5 of our children (step, bio and ours) have a present nurturing force in the home and a solid example of provider who then gets to come home and kick back and be present with them because all their needs are being met.
