Thanks so , so much for doing this !!!!!. Would this work the same for a 235 engine that has hydraulic lifters? If not , could you please do a video for a 235 hydraulic lifters engine. I've been researching for the past month , on how to do this. I'd really appreciate it. Thank from Dallas , TX
@Firme48 ok , so I'm not a mechanic. I have to ask these questions. So , it's on 0 across all the lifters ( I don't need to worry about some lifters being adjusted differently from the others ) And what is half lash turn? I can do this with the engine being cold , right ? Or do I need to let it warm up ? I've picked up bits of information , just wanting to compile all the info I get. Again , I really appreciate it. Wish I lived there in California .
Whts good brother I’m impressed I don’t know much about mechanical ⚙️ but I’m from the Cali bay if you know any connects on working rebuilding my 1969 ford f100 302 shoot me some connects numbers I’m interested in getting a rebuild it runs drives starts up I just oil in my coolant so I’m guessing my heads
Thank you for your input, this was supposed to be just a quick video. The re-assembly videos will be detailed. The disassembly is pretty straight forward so I figured a Timelapse would be pretty cool to kick off this series 😎👍
It's definitely not a waste of time. Is there more to it? Yes, there are a lot of screws attached to the inner fenders to grille. These cars are a simple tear down, but you got to put in work. Give the man a break. It's the first video he even said, so... pump the brakes 😆
Nice work
Great video! Much appreciated since there’s not a lot of content out there for these old 6 cylinders and bombs in general.
Thank you great video.
The timing mark is the pressed in bb in a stock flywheel, correct?

Same exact process, instead of using a feeler gauge adjust them to zero lash half a turn

That crossmember looks like the one on my ‘56 vette. It had a king pin front suspension. No ball joints.
Now that’s how it is done.Love it keep it going.
